That is so silly. A few points less damage due to the "dex bug" doesn't make/break the game. Come on man, put it in perspective.

True it doesn't exactly break the game, I had fun with my cunning rogue and dual axes, but it does make a dex rogue obsolete. Also since dex should be 50% of the dagger damage it adds up to a lot more than a few points once you get further into the game. What bothers me is that this fix has been around since December and now we only get it because they have to make the game work correctly with the expansion. It could have easily been released prior to this, the 1.02 patch has been there for over three months.

No fix for the poison menu hud....I stopped being disappointed with BW services long ago. Tis a good thing to not expect any kind of support from these guys, at least I am not disappointed and I now expect sub-standard workmanship from them in regards to fixing any game they release. Well done BW.

Are any of the ending glitches fixed with this? Is the dagger bug problem fixed?

 Ha ha, what a ****ing joke. I knew it all along. If they don't specifically tell us they're doing it, and instead just stay quiet and let us believe they're doing it, it means they ain't doing it.

Ah well. Sorry to those who actually hoped BioWare might pull their fingers out and get their **** together, I guess the disappointment's worse for you guys. I gave up on Dragon Age a while ago, and I plan never to buy a BioWare game new again (to be clear, I have been a BioWare fan for a long time now), not that it'll make the slightest shred of difference to them of course.

So am I right and there is still no patched released? If not and seeing how many problems there are with the PC patch, my question is was patch pulled for QA, will it be fixed and released in time for everyone to play DA:O A on Tues?

I don't even think it was ever uploaded. I havent seen or heard of any 360 player who even downloaded the update.

This is just stupid... If the patch never got uploaded. Why the hell havent Bioware said anything about issues or delay? its gone days and soon Awakening will arrive and this post is not updated or removed. This make no sense.

I suspect they're staying silent because they're embarrassed.

They won't come right out and say that it's broken and might not be ready for the expansion, but given the track record for this game it wouldn't surprise me.... I'm sure lots of people, myself included, are not buying the expansion because of the total lack of fixes/patches we've recieved, if they said the patch was broken or would be late more people would cancel their preorders or decide not to buy the expansion. Everything has been so rushed with this game that quallity has suffered for the sake of more money.

Will give it a try.

But Toy Soldiers uses my whole console ;) Next week Perfect Dark and then: The GameRoom :)

Thanks for your support EA/BW/EoR.

Youre climbing up the ladder of prefered publisher/developer again.

I just tried and didn't get any update, 5:40am CST

It's gonna take a lot more than a simple patch to get my faith back in EA / Bioware.
I knocked them off my ladder with a swift kick to the junk after 4 months with no patch.  Image IPB  Image IPB
I mean seriously patch 1.02 has been out for 3 months and we only get this so we'll spend more money buying the expansion, and days after it's announced we still don't have it, kinda funny, sad but funny.....

Still no sign? Wish they'd post something, telling us when it really is coming out.

I just started replaying DA:O after aboy a two months layoff from the game. I accepted the update (on Xbox 360) and went to load one of my two characters and the game stated It could not load character because DLC "Lion's Paw" could not be found. I went to try other chararcter with the same results. I checked the Downloadable Content and "Lion's Paw" was no longer listed. I retried redeemimng the code and said it had already been used (duh!). My question is "Did this last patch delete my DLC?". Or are there issues with the DA:O servers? It sucks that I may have to restart a new character yet again.

Sounds like you don't have the offline license for Lion's Paw and the DA servers are down so the game can't authorize it. When the DA servers come back up, the instructions in the following thread will get you the license to prevent this from happening again.

Wow. I haven't played my game in many moons, waiting for a patch to fix corrupted saves and the poison *menu*, and still not done. I was so excited about this game I purchased the fancy version, and now I cannot even play it because save files get corrupted.

Going to sell pretty soon. There are too many other good games and too little time ...

I don't think either of those bugs are addressed in this patch, I think the only thing that might get fixed is the dex bug and a few minor things, that is, if they actually include the previous patches.

Today on my german Xbox360 there is an update available message when I am launching Dragon Age. I was online yesterday and before, too, without such a message. But now I wonder if patch 1.03 arrived eventually?
EDIT: I am afraid to do the update so I declined...

Doubtful considering the PS3 got their own version of the 103 patch a couple weeks ago and there was no dex fix. Just what was mentioned in the 103 PC patch notes without the fixes from the 102 patch. Read the 360 patch notes and the PS3 patch notes they are almost the same.

I'm right there with you, if the corrupt saves arent fixed I wont buy DAO:A I want to be able to use the character I poured 40 hours into, not some Orlesian I havent done anything with.:(

I honestly havent fired up Dragon Age in the past 2 weeks so I have no idea if the patch is available. Assuming it is, if we download it and it screws up the game is there any way to remove it?

Might be a dumb question, I just have no idea of the answer.
