I think I'll wager it's Bioware announcing there won't be any DLC ever and that they will now concentrate on ME3. This way I'm certain I won't be disappointed.

@1: I'm sure no one meant that a pirated game should have the same perks as a legal variant. The main issue is as far as I have heard that Bioware (or more likely EA) has taken it to next level and now punishes second hand buyers.

@2: A valid viewpoint of second hand games sells, but I still disagree on that forcing consumers hand like this would be the right solution. On that note, I'm not quite sure what would be the right solution for this situation.

Actually, all EA/Bioware are doing is ensuring that they get some money from you, the second-hand buyer, instead of nothing like they usually do. They aren't demanding the price of the game to get these extras either. With every second hand sale that retailers sell that's one less new game sale they are going to get. Which equals less money, which then equal less of a development budget, which potentially leads to less of a future game.

That they do. Alas pity the ones who have no credit card.

There's one bright side in all this however. To sell any Cerberus codes at all, they need some pretty damn good DLC, which they would be smart to make available on regular intervals.

Well, they announced Awakenings for DA just a few months after the release.  If Bioware is prepping for a release of an expansion pack in late Spring/Summer, then it would be the perfect time.  I hope we see it sooner, rather than later.  Maybe May or June, if it is coming.

I know what I would like to see but its not likely BioWare will add a side quest to each of the 29 systems still without one.



I would be surprised if it wasn’t the new “did we really need another?” heavy weapon. Last I heard Kasumi is still a ways away and the Hammerhead is supposed to come out late March so its unlikely going to be them.
