So I been looking at all kinds of videos on Youtube and GT and more about ME2, and there's one thing I've noticed: people making these videos all seem to have access to armour pieces and casual wear that I have never found in the game (I'm on a third play now).
Are there more armours and casual clothes in the PC version? Is there more DLC I'm unaware of? I find it a little confusing.

There are .ini tweaks and such on the PC version that allow you to get more armours and outfits.
Not all work, and not all work in all locations thanks to the weird way the engine handles models but there's enough to add far more variety than the mundane 360.

I was fine with the ammount of gear I was able to choose from...my hope is that they focus DLC efforts on story with accessories as an afterthought. Just my opinion tho.

yeah... most people use the PC versions of games to make YouTube vids. And PC gamers get to use mods. A bit early for so many to have so much modded content (I like using mods to keep old games fresh), but there you go.

I've been seeing pictures of people wearing the old N7 armor. Old as in the ME1 version and the one I want. IIRC those casual items and armors are supposed to be DLC files or something. I hope us "mundane" 360 owners get DLC though. Not all of us have the money or the space to use PCs.

No, actually the extra casual items are just bodies of NPCs. You need to use a small piece of 3rd party software to do it, but you can modify one of the game files to substitute Shepard's body for one of those NPC outfits. Honestly, most of them are pretty lame, though, and they use lower-rez textures. I usually just end up wearing the Cerberus shirt anyway.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...

Yes I saw some and they didn't look too good. Maybe they could add it by pieces so it would work with the armor customization. I like it better than the new N7 armor IMO and I don't see any reason to have it removed. Devs should add options not remove them especially when they're not breaking anything.

Precisely.
I love having a large amount of pointless downloads available that I will never, ever use because someone was too lazy to include a helmet toggle.

I'd have liked a helmet toggle too. I love the Death Mask, but it ruins cut scenes with lots of dialogue.
On a slight aside, if you get the Shepard VI off Mouse, does it do anything? Feels like a wasted throwaway comment atm.

Armour is correct according to the Aussie Miranda.
