Agrees with OP.  Her character changed so much from ME1 to ME2 that its not even funny.

She goes from being the "damsel in distress" to a ruthless information broker who is willing to murder those that get in her way.  Her assistant misleads her so she kills her.  Nice.  She goes from being an astute scholar, researcher and scientist to some kind of commando fighting her way to dead Shepard only to turn him over to Cerberus.  At least I'm not that surprised by Ashely or Kaiden, they are consistant.  Liara isn't. 

I know that much of the "hate" towards Liara comes from the rather weak reasons for her not joining you in ME2, though that has more to do with a poorly written subplot to explain why she was being held aside for ME3.  At least Ash/Kaiden had a decent reason.  I liked Liara's character in ME1, and can't believe what's she is supposed to be in ME2.  Hopefully a better job will be done in ME3, at least to keep the fans of her happy.

FF13 will be rather sweet. I think I may purchase soon. She voices Lighting, one of the main characters, if not THE main character.

The assistant she killed was hardly innocent.   Liara's going up against some bad people and it's changed her.  I think it could be rather interesting (if handled well).

I do still hope that the comic book series helps explain Liara's prediciment in ME2.

I do think the VA changed the delivery of her lines a bit. I swear Liara's voice seems more...I don't know how to describe it, breathy? It's different. I'm not saying it's worse, as that's subjective. But if it can be perceived to be different then it stands to reason that someone out there isn't going to like the change.

To take the time to post that shows that the OP does care about Liara to some degree. He cares enough about her to post why he hates her in a non-troll, educated sort of way which is not totally unbearable. Although, even Liara fans don't like how little Liara is depicted in ME 2 and how little Shepard can express his/her feelings for her, but that will be rectified later. I respect the OP's opinion and expressing it intellectually, but Liara > all imo.

I agree that recreating an already locked topic is a request to get in trouble. So yes sir, you have a right to get in trouble. HOWEVER, as delta so eloquently stated, keep on hating man! just helps the ♥Liara♥ Movement out more.

They stay in their thread and talk about...god knows what in there. The Ashely thread is mostly people talking about random things that catch their fancy, and occassionally posting pictures of Ashley's ass.

I haven't seen either group flocking to lynch a poster quite like this.
