Not a big question, but does Oghren's approval rating from our Origins playthrough import over if we import our Warden from DAO?

I'm wondering if everything Oghren carries over.

Good question.

I also wonder if he will recognize whether you completed his personal quest or not.

His armor etc should be carry over. I dont know about approval but it should be carry over too. And if you didnt friendly with him yet Awakening should be your chance.

If we have to start over then whats point of him being return. Maybe for Orlesian Warden but Hero of Ferelden ? dont think so.

I doubt it, because as they said, Oghren got little air time. I do not think they would want to make it so Oghren dislikes the warden bcause of the lack of approval improving time.. I only got him to like me on 1 out of 5 playthroughs.

It better carry over, it took enough time for me to max him out. I don't want to have to start all over again...........

If it carries over, it might be a little tricky getting him back if you let him leave the party in Origins. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

No, his apporval does not carry over into Awakeing, neither does his armor and wepons.

Are you sure? (about his approval and not his gear)

Yep, there was a thread earlier and a guy who got the game early said that he has neutral approval and only a Legion Of The Dead armor set.

----SPOILERY SPOILERS-----

I don't know about the approval but yes, the personal quest does carry over, or the game assumes you did it, whether you did it or not. In Awakening he has a child and is with (married?) to Felsi.

So, maybe you did something to ****** him off to wear he's neutral to you. Who knows.

Whether you did it or not? That's pretty lame.

As I understand it, plot flags ("did somone do X quest?") can be carried over but approval (which is a variable stored on the PC character local to origins) can not. It's been a while since Oghren saw you, at least, but if you did his personal quest (and how you did it) is at least an indication of how you two got along.

Oh okay, that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

It makes sense that if you start with a new Warden, his appoval rate should not be higher than neutral.
