I know. And considering the US is where games sales are the strongest, it makes little sense for us to miss out.

Apparently those items are going to be in the normal game for us USAians, available from Wade and Herren.

I personally don't think anyone should be excluded. If the US gets something special for a pre-order I see no reason why Britian and Japan can't either.

Well this isnt my name its the mater of the fact were paying the same amount of money and were not geting any thing if we got something diffrent then the UK players it be horse of a diffrent color then Id like Bio dev to post on this mater i have payed for my copy in full

I belive in equl treatment if both UK Japanse and United states players pay the same price the all should be entitled to DLC

Totally agreed, I feel the same way - I think it should be like that on ANY game. Either give everyone a pre-order bonus item or don't have a pre-order bonus item at all. *shrugs* It is just common courtesy, simple as that. Not that I'm upset that the US game isn't getting one, since there will be mods who will likely put out much better stuff anyway, I've just always had this opinion on games who give something to one area and don't to another. It just seems... well, rude. =/

Because other countries are left out all the time, so why should the US be different, I gave my response to the thread stating that why should the US be treated differently and always have pre order stuff/exclusives, other countries dont get them so why should the others just because of where they live, seems pointless.

LikeI said, different people get different things, e.g ME2 in US you get CE and terminus armour, UK it was impossible to get both without buying 2 different copies, we paid the same. So why should it be different just becaus its the US ?

Because game sell more in the US. More the reason for us to get extras.

that is still messed up we have pay in game money when UK players get to start out with it that Belt would come in handy it gives bonus to the amount of  gold that is droped id more then likey give the Bow to that Howe person

Games sell in most places, no reason to treat others diffently, yes there are more people in the US, but that dosent mean you should get something for living there if the game is availible to everyone.

I could be wrong, but preorder items tend to be exclusive to certain retailers because those retailers may have paid BioWare for them and is not BioWare's fault for the exclusiveness of the items.

So put the blame on US retailers not wanting to spend more money than they have to for a better chance at selling the game.

I preordered via Steam in the UK and am not eligible for the bonuses - so that's not universal. It's only at certain sellers.

Because the retailers in the US don't want to spend money on preorder bonuses for their customers? I'm just guessing, but that's probably it.

No, EA publishes and markets the game, if they want preorder bonuses, they can have them. Then they can make them available for everyone later, but the other preorder items exclusive to say Gamestop, they can't make those available to everyone if there was an agreement with Gamestop and BioWare/EA.
Again, I could be wrong.

Well originally I heard that there were two retail places giving out pre-order bonuses on the Awakening expac, that was weeks ago. It was mentioned on the greywarden's site. Other than that..I pre-ordered from Direct-to-Drive (digital) and never saw any reference to pre-order bonuses (I'm in Canada) So I am not sure what to believe.



I guess it doesn't matter either way for me, because from what we've seen, pre-order items from buying the Digital Deluxe game, aren't going to carry over into Awakening or probably any other expac or sequel.



So I guess I'm just not going to worry about it. I WAS concerned about RTO item content not carrying over, as ..that is basically still new content we all paid for.



Nice that they worked a patch so those things will still carry over, specifically because all their advertising about RTO was about the King's armor etc.
