1. As your travelling along the road you notice a strange creature dressed very unusually, after watching this creature it appears intelligent and friendly, so you decide to approach this creature with your weapons ready.
Mordin: Hmm one of the locals to this planet. New civilization composed of humans and slightly smaller humanoids. Odds of this happening very low. Not likely possible that identical organic evolution would happen twice.
PC: What who are yo-
Mordin: It has language. Shows capable intelligence of being able to speak. Unlike other creatures here.
PC: Oh you mean darks-
Mordin: Has a name. Better leave civilization in case gets uplifted like Krogan. That would be... disaster.
*Large flash of light*
You wake up a few hours later with a strange piece of metal that seems quite malleable, and strong. Perhaps a smith with enough skill can make something out of this.
2. You come across a large clearing with a debris from a machine, you don't know what it is but you can make out the words Normandy SR-2. You explore the area further and find a metallic humanoid with a head that is one eye with rust all over his body. As you explore more you find large skulled irregular shaped skeletons, and other humanoid skeletons that don't exist to your knowledge. You then find two skeletons lying near eachother holding hands, with a mask nearby. You find some armor that says N7 on it and take it assuming it must be strong after surviving all the elements all these years, perhaps a smith can make it into something else?
As your leaving you find a strange object you touch it and to your surprise a hologrophic image pops up. C
Shepard: We've all lost, everything we could have done, everything we did, in the end changed nothing. The cycle never stops and they will continue to harvest us as cattle. If anyone finds this, don't make the same mistake we did. Our leaders ignored the threat and now, our civilization is lost. The last species before us tried to stop the cycle, we took that gift but failed, now all we can do for you is warn you. When you reach the stars, heed this warning. The reapers are coming and you must do everything you can to stop them.
You pause in amazement you could understand the words coming out of that hologram with all the static and the different language being used, you take this message and keep it, feeling that it may be important later.
3. You and party come across strange beetle like humanoids with only one speaking, you try to sneak away but they see you and lock in some sort of paralyzation spell.
Harbringer: Dwarf, incredible endurance and strength shows well constructed genetic make up. Ability to hold off darkspawn for centuries with insufficent numbers shows great potential, unfortunately insufficent numbers show that they may be useless. We should help their civilization grow for ascention.
Harbringer: Elf, being conquered twice with superior magic and culture is a genetic weakness. Useless.
Harbringer: Human, weaker version of current space faring species. Useless.
Let these bacteria live in the end it won't matter, give them a gift too for the dwarf.
You wake up hours later with a hunk of extremely advanced metal that can forged into very powerful equipment.
