Oh yea. By far. The Coolest looking armor for each character in the game is the Collosus X. Tali in badass reds and blacks. Sheperd in crimson and shining black. Too bad you can't import the killer cool looking Collosus X armor class into ME2.

Ehh... Heavy Colossus on humans looks pretty cool, but Medium and especially Light Colossus look kinda silly to me. Like red and black spandex. I do agree that it looks really neat on Tali though, as well as Garrus.
That said, on my current playthrough, my entire team is wearing Colossus armor (except Wrex, who's wearing Rage armor. It's still red and black though!) and wields Spectre weapons (which are also red and black). It's pretty awesome to see the "Black Knights Squadron" kicking ass and taking names. XD

The only thing that sucks about advanced ME1 is the constant inventory liquidation and the ease of battle. Some of the thrill of danger from the initial playthrough is absent and their are less variety in X mods than their are at lower levels, except for biotic amps and omni tools. The Logic Arrest Tool X was interesting, but Savant X just blew it out of the water...

I've been a big proponent of Colossus as the best armour in the game by quite a long way. People who suggest Predator L/M/H really should do the maths on the amount of pre-mitigation damage each suit means you can survive, Colossus comes out well ahead every time. But I'm far from a fan of it.
First it's ugly as all hell. Light Colossus, ugly. Medium Colossus, ugly. Heavy Colossus, well I think all heavy armour is ugly but colossus counts double. It's second only to Phoenix and if it that had kept it's concept art colour scheme colossus would not only be in a league of its own in stats but in ugly. The Turian, Krogan and Quarian versions actually look pretty good but Phantom looks better for Garrus and Geth Armories for Wrex.
Second it's stupid that there is one type of armour so much better than the others. Same goes for Savant amps/tools and Master Spectre Weapons. It just means in practice 99% of gear is completely superfluous junk which is a big part of what made ME1's inventory system so miserably bad.
Personally I tend to stick with Onyx for the N7 look. I'll have a suit of it in the inventory, but that's just out of being obsessive about having the perfect gear, but not necessarily wearing the perfect gear. I actually recommend an Onyx only play through challenge if you want to inject a bit more life into ME: it's a pretty softball challenge but it makes dying late game more of a possibility.

<---- Look here
I miss the option of a Colossus like Armor in ME2, you can get a Predator armor look pretty easily though.
This is my "Colossus" armor in ME2:

I've never found any heavy armor Collosus.
I had medium Collosus for my Vanguard renegade MShep though.
And light Collosus for my Engineer FemShep.
I think the light armor version looks pretty bad.

All light armor looks pretty bad IMO. The rage armor is by far the coolest looking armor in the game though IMO.jynthor wrote...

I know many of you will probably disagree, but I personally think the coolest looking armor in the game is the heavy Onyx. At least on a male Shepard.
It was my most used armor in ME1, followed by the Collossus.
