I've put in 20 hours of gameplay and didn't know that her romance was bugged

I read everything in your other thread. You don't seem very open to trying any of the suggestions that can help but I'll offer one of my own anyway.

You don't NEED to be in a relationship with Leliana for her to get jealous. Just get it on with Morrigan or Zevran and she'll act like you were dating. When you get to that point, lie to her and say you didn't sleep with whoever and tell her she's the only one for you etc. etc. If you plant a kiss on her in that dialogue tree she'll get with you.

That's how I did it by accident. But to be fair, I had done her personal quest so that might be significant. You need her approval low for that so you might need to NOT choose her for the approval hit.

There's a way to restart the romance after you've done her personal quest so it's worth breaking her heart once. I told someone to do it this way before and it worked for them...

the solutions offered were:
1) use and older save (i explained that  the only save I have before where Im at, was from 16 hours of gameplay prior, which is basically the start of the game)

Im not on a PC, and I wasn't going to start playing the GAME all over again, after putting 20 hours into it, not knowing there was a bug with this romance option.

If you bothered to read and comprehend my statements, there is nothing I can do to start the romance option for Leliana. Despite the fact that I spoke with her immediately, the dialog options weren't obvious as to what started her romance. So i "sped" right past the dialog for her and didn't realize it, while trying to UP her approval rating early, because of the fact that her romance option is difficult to begin with.

Im one quest away from hitting the Landsmeet part of the game, and there isn't any way Im going to get Leliana's approval rating low enough to initiate her romance dialog to start or to start her personal quest.

I spent the last hour doing this. NOTHING from her happened. I started my romance with Morrigan and nothing happened as a response from Leliana. The only dialog I get from her is "I have some questions" > "Never mind". ...Following the "I have some questions" I only have "never mind".

So I wasted an hour to see if romancing Morrigan would initiate Leliana's response and bupkis on that.

I didn't get an option for her personal quest because its TIED into her low approval rating to get it started. Since I had already gotten her approval rating higher than 60, the option to start a romance with her or to start her personal quest became lost.

This is a bug. Its an aknowledged bug, one that was fixed for the PC version of the game, but Xbox 360 owners are stuck with it.



The expansion is coming out, and we've yet to see a fix for this.

I have 100% approval and no dialogue options to start a romance with her. From reading this and other topics it looks like the romance has bugged because I just threw every gift I could at her and hardly spoke to her (d'oh).



Thought this had been patached in update 1.02 but I am having no luck.

Same here. 100% approval still stuck to Friendly status. Tried to make her jealous with morrigan, but only thing she says is "She is a lucky girl... morringan" and then w/e answer i give terminates the dialog.
