So what next guys? Gonna jump from the helmet toggle bandwagon to a boobs toggle petition? Maybe some extra sliders in the character customisation screen huh...
Don't you see it? They want naked scenes. Obviously 'helmets off!' and 'large boobs!' creates 'topless!'. That is their true motive, I just know it.
You know cae, you can actually mod the N7 armour pieces to be toggled to a state where they're not there at all.
Alas that does not give you a nekkid shepard, more like a floating-head-with-invisible-rest-of-body shepard...
Maybe the forum people here will petition for something like that. Or at least 6 different outfit types for different occasions. Hey the Sims had that, why not ME3 right?

Most human females have small boobs. Shocking, I know
That isn't true. There is a wide variation in breast size and I guess it's a matter of opinion as to what constitutes large or small. I don't think Miranda is large at all. Based on the women I grew up around Miranda's breasts are in the average range. Small breasts are just fine. I have no complaints about how they look on the asari pole dancers.
The lack of body shape variety is probably to reduce unnecessary memory requirements. People seem to be under the impression that anything can be added to a video game effortlessly at the snap of a finger. I especially love it when people request that public areas, like Afterlife, be jam packed with wall to wall people dancing.

Now just think up all the whines that would come up if BW increased all female breasts to C+ proportions? A rather vocal part of the female players, even if they were a minority (no idea there), would raise hell and call ME a sexist game. I've seen it happen in WoW ("bwaaah, female armors show too much skin, we're not wh0res!"), I've seen it happen in Guildwars ("Bwaaaah, why do all females have a supermodel body and immense breasts?"). And I think I've even seen a thread about it somewhere in the DA:O forums (It was about how female rogues looked too sexy
Seriously, it's a perfect solution of BW, to have something for the juveniles & breast-men, while ALSO listening to the more conservative players, by heaving a rather realistic spread in breastsizes.
I just wished they also listened a bit to the juveniles by adding tight skinsuit armours though

This. When its spread across the board its fine but when its only females it pisses me off.
If that makes me a "bwahhha feminist!" So be it. <_<
If guys started complaining because their male avatars were forced into asschap armors or wearing a thong they'd be perfectly justified but a female complaining about her avatars' boobs hanging out and da ridculously skimpy outfit? Stop bwahing!

I like me some eyecandy though. I have no problems with it. But I want eyecandy across the board (and no Jacob's weird body wasn't eyecandy as much as cringecandy).

Oh I have no problem with sex per se; in fact I think more developers should quit their insecure, passive circle-jerking around the issue and just embrace sexuality as a common theme in modern fiction.
- You know, without resorting to the exploitational crap which is currently shoving its ample polygons in our faces in games such as Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden.
I think the original Mass Effect was nigh flawless in that respect, because all reference to the subject was either earnestly passionate and tasteful, or intently comedic.
And there wasn't a single latex leotard in sight.

Some females in ME are well endowed, some are not.
Some females show a lot of skin, some don't, and the decision whether to show skin or not generally depends on the location and the NPC involved, and generally fits in rather well with the atmosphere present.
As for eyecandy for the women.. Maybe suggest BioWare to make a little "taskforce" consisting of only the female 3D artists they have, and let them design the "physically perfect LI for Femshep". About half the writers are women, so I figure the LI personalities may be well drawn out, but suffer from having to be condensed into something that works within the game. I personally found Jacob to be an okay character for example, he just seems shallow for lack of detail. But then his personality is supposed to be close to the "normal guy", and the game just doesn't give enough room to get more details to his personality.
Thane on the other hand is an extremely tragic figure, so his personality gets a headstart into that direction, which seems to give him more personality. Honestly, Thane and Jacob are equally deep or shallow, whichever way you want to put it. But Thane's story simply gives more colour to his personality.

Yup. And it's a shame, because I really, really like Samara, for example. But I have a hard time talking with her because that gaping void in her costume is impossible to ignore completely.

Now that is something we can agree on.
Jack's outfit made perfect sense character-wise, although the practicality of the getup is somewhat questionable.
Why I have a problem with above-mentioned Samara is because there's really no point for a wandering warrior of justice who by choice doesn't engage in relationships to have that kind of attire.

Truth. I shouldn't have to strain to take a character seriously because of their outfit. NM Miranda's white outfit. Good grief I don't want her ass filling half my screen. Everybody doesn't feel the need to see her assets during a conversation about her sister for one thing. <_< Playing as a FemShep made this even more of a wallbanger.

Well, in general they do a pretty good job with all that. Not as cheap and juvenile as it often happens in this industry. So, as long as the big picture is fine, i don't mind some eye or cringecandies.

Whereas there should be no reason for a justicar to have that much fresh air around the cleavage. I think her black dress is somehow more decent, but the red one is kinda gross...
From what we've seen so far in the Mass Effect franchise, it would seem that the asari matriarchs are in general prone to showing their cleavage, while the younger asari settle for skintight clothing. One theory that I've liked has been that they wish to emphasize their maternal role in their society by showing their bust. Yeah, it's just an excuse for fanservice, but justified fanservice is always better than plain; though I can't say that I find either Benezia or Samara all that attractive, even though I think they are both awesome characters. Just not into hot grannies, I guess.
Biotic warriors (Samara, suze, miranda) have to wear tight formfitting
armor/clothes because heavier gear would hamper their ability to allow
biotic powers to flow through them.
Now you're talking nonsense. Shepard can do biotics just as well in any sort of armour. Nothing in the description about the biotic powers or the dark energy lends credibility to this idea, either.

*shrugs* Who knows. I guess BioWare thought having words on her ass gave them more meaning? I don't know was still pretty damn ridculous. I actually stared at the screen for a few seconds: "Really BioWare? Really?" Shook my head and went along.
Good thing she has that black outfit. The white one was just not cutting it for me.

Indeed. I always understood it like the biotics MAY use light armor because they use the shielding instead. Although, in ME1 they were kinda forced to rely on light armor... (which was still much more protection that what Jack has
So, not so sure what's up with the N7 armor and Sheps biotic skills...

Ironically enough, there was one game I played, can't remember the name of it now but they had all armours (regardless of the gender wearing it) looking as realistic as possible (which actually meant full plate over the entire body and not leaving huge cleavage-holes to drive swords through etc), however many women complained saying that it stopped their characters from looking good.
And apparently this isn't just women as well, but men do it as well. Apparently the male blood elves in WoW didn't look 'manly' enough and had to be bulked up despite the whole point of them was that they were meant to be slender, which I hear is also what happened to the male humans at launch (even the wizards look like they could snap a giant's head in two with their bare hands, some players are blatantly overcompensating there).
