This. When its spread across the board its fine but when its only females it pisses me off.

If guys started complaining because their male avatars were forced into asschap armors or wearing a thong they'd be perfectly justified but a female complaining about her avatars' boobs hanging out and da ridculously skimpy outfit? Stop bwahing!

Ironically enough, there was one game I played, can't remember the name of it now but they had all armours (regardless of the gender wearing it) looking as realistic as possible (which actually meant full plate over the entire body and not leaving huge cleavage-holes to drive swords through etc), however many women complained saying that it stopped their characters from looking good.   Apparently they felt that it was important to still look attractive in full body armour, despite the game emphasising realism.  It wasn't even that the characters looked bad in the armour, just not "I'm going to the ball" good.

And apparently this isn't just women as well, but men do it as well.  Apparently the male blood elves in WoW didn't look 'manly' enough and had to be bulked up despite the whole point of them was that they were meant to be slender, which I hear is also what happened to the male humans at launch (even the wizards look like they could snap a giant's head in two with their bare hands, some players are blatantly overcompensating there).

Oh god *facepalms* I hate it when people do that. "Screw realism I wanna look hot!" *sighs*

Also bulky elves?  ...that's...retarded on sooo many levels. *sighs* That kind of thing irks the mess out of me I don't mind skimpy armor when it actually fits the gameworld and isn't blantant titlation but jeez...

You're totally right it is overcompensation. Both genders. As long as my female has a pretty face I don't care about her body as long as she looks fit enough to actually do what she's doing.

Edit: That's why I love my female 2hander wearing heavy plate. No boob slots!

If only her arms were a bit bigger.

This is why stuff like that should be optional. Everybody wins.

Despite all this, I doubt mother nature would rid the world of bigger breasts. For instance, animals have scents and colorful displays to attract mates. In terms of humans (still animals), for a large majority of men, bigger boobs are more appealing. And if more men choose to mate with women who have larger busts, that mating will produce more women with large busts.

I personally think beauty is beauty, regardless of breast size. But, if I had a choice, i'd like a girl with a nice C-Cup. But as I said, beauty is beauty (Jessica Alba, *drool*).

The issue here is that people want to appreciate them in a circumstance which is really quite useless.

Huh, Guild Wars was always one of my go-to games (Along with ME1) when it comes to decent outfitting between genders. Err, excluding the whole elementalist bunch at least.

On a more serious note, I believe it was explained in a previous episode of Bonus Round over at Gametrailers why there are no female soldiers in any war games. The explanation was that it would require completely re-designed models and animations which is both costly and require additional data space hence why some companies forgo adding females into stereotypical "male" games.

Inviting his archnemesis to join the party and Alistair deciding to leave peacefully is epic backstabbing right? <_< You totally didn't betray his trust and friendship just by allowing Loghain to join the Grey Wardens no? And he doesn't backstab you. He attempts to leave without causing you any harm or even wishing any harm on you. That's a lot more than you can say for everyone else in the group.
