Its seriously amazing in everything, its reduced the already small CPU usage Steam had, buffered Steamworks, made the Library much easier to navigate, made the Friends list work better, made the ingame UI not be so laggy in non-Steam games, made the Store easier to navigate, made the internet UI overlay actually work without ABSURD LOAD TIMES, and added a back key, honestly, I could go on.
New Steam UI is AMAZING.

I had a quick look, but also use a localized version of Steam, and that did not go over well, so I decided that I'll wait it out untill it's out of beta. But overall, the interface is a huge upgrade yes.

Been using it since this morning, at first glance it looks a lot better. Time will tell if it is actually better.

Since its still in beta, I ran it in a sandbox to see it without disturbing my IRL install. Looks nice.
But not really a big deal for me since the only games I use Steam for is Valve games and those few other games I like that also require Steam like Audiosurf.
With all games, I first check for a non-Steam version and buy it; I only buy the Steam version if I still want the game.
