I started a character on my laptop and got kind of far and would like to continue playing this same character on my Desktop.  Is there a way to do this?  What file should I be copying over?

Also, would anyone mind linking me a good beginners webpage to find out how to use some of these 'mods' people are talking about?

C:\\Users\\********\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age

Thats for seven. If you own XP, that it will look something like

C:\\Documents and Settings\\*********\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age

Just copy this folder

Documents and Settings\\\\user\\\\My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\

There you should find your dragon ages directories you should copy

Addins directory= dlc
Characters directory = saves
Settings directory = your profile that has your achievements, and addins.xml that has your dlc listed.

Easiest way is installing dragon age on your desktop then copying the whole dragon age directory
at Documents and Settings\\\\user\\\\My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\\\ from your laptop to your desktop.

EDIT: ahh, I was too late ^_^

Do you also need to bring over the SQL databased file to keep achievements or does the online profile does that?

Thanks guys....I WAS looking last night and know where the folder was, I guess I have to look in documents and settings, because I was in Program files and could NOT find my saves. The Desktop does already have Dragon Age installed, just want to move the characters around.

Any good beginner mod sites out there?
