Just what I always wanted..... another heavy weapon! You're super-duper, Bioware!

I am detecting a high frequency of puns in this thread.

Puncakes, anyone?

Oh and the new heavy weapon seems to be creating a lot of buzz

Hmm...a deluge of heavy weapons, a new Mako that seems to eschew exploration and the quiet of space for hallway combat, and...what's next?

Sigh. Bioware's logic about what it thinks ME's fanbase wants doesn't seem very well-grounded.

That was a pun.

District 9 gun. That was my first guess last month when it was announced. :)

Cool I guess. I don't really stray from my Collector Beam TBH.

More normal weapons and fully customisable armours (a la, N7 peices) would be more appreciated.

A "Chain Lightning" gun? Do we get a dissintergrate one next?

Also, is that new armour in the second screenshot?

Idk, it might just be the N7 armor with customizable parts?

Yay, a chain lightning gun. <:-D

Okay, I've said something nice, now...

Why oh why another heavy weapon when this game could really use more pistols, SMGs and ARs to choose from?

*sigh*

But still... even though it's free... Wtf is the point of making heavy weapons? This kind of an excuse to just bring out dozens of 'DLC' for the CN? I hope they spend their time and effort making gameplay DLC and stop wasting time and effort on heavy weapons, which I'm sure most people don't use anyways.

Assault Rifles are OK, we already got the Collector Rifle, there's the hardcore/insanity only Geth Rifle and the unique Reverant LMG so they deffinitely have a solid base for us to use as of now. Same with SRs and SGs.

Pistols and SMGs on the other hand are in desperate need of some variety.

Uh have you actually ever used the N7 armor? It doesn't look anything like that.

It might be that they are just buying time till they can release some new missions or something and I like that idea of this since none of the other heavy weapons really match the color scheme I want. They may also be tied up working on awakings or the were at least.

You also got to remember that the stuff offered on the cerebrus network is free so they may not be able to afford to put up some really extensive stuff up there but are trying to put some things out there at least.

Ohm my god, I wonder if any enemies have a natural resistance to this weapon?

Like I said, you might have to 'customize' it and change the material... etc... and yes I do use it, but I never bother changing anything on it except for adding a DLC helmet

Looks great, but I wish they would make more small arms. The SMG and pistol section is lacking variety.

A couple of pieces look similar. The chest looks quite like the Aegis vest, but the legs for example aren't like anything else I can think of. and none of the pieces at the minute glow in the same places.
