Hey guys does anyone use any pro audio equipment / dacs to output their audio for games?
I have my Mbox 2 Pro running on a 3.2ghz 24 inch iMac with 512 of graphics memory and all settings on max (running beautifully graphics wise) through Firewire to 2 Tascam VLX-5 powered monitors.
The problem is I'm getting tons of digital static in Dragon age.... like unlistenable.
Don't have issues with any other games or programs...
thanks!
Kris

I'm having the exact same issue with an M-Audio Firewire 410 connected to a Macbook Pro.
When switching OSX to internal speakers the sound works ok but then I cannot use my external sound system. Please help!
Thanks,
Avner.

I think it's Cider ports y'know...
I just bought Red Alert from direct2drive and it has the same issues, as does Warhammer Online. all thee of these are cider ports... No native games have the problem.
