Does anyone actually have the 1.03 patch?

Once someone has it, can they test whether the 1.02 fixes went into it? The PC changes go a long way in cleaning up the game, and all we want is a little confirmation.

But anyone who did, is it working fine with the current DLC's and savegames? I managed to finish my game without the savegame corrupt issue.
I already lost 2 characters because of that and I really appreciate any feedback regarding the patch (xbox version).

When I booted it up last night to check out the patch I didn't get a update. Haven't had a chance to check today.
Same. No update for me.

Wouldn't be so bad had it been the first one, but BioWare are running Beth close by doing a FO3-esque royal **** up with all their DLC and patches.

I'm really not complaining though....this patch is pointless anyway. And I'm not buying Awakenings until Origins gets something more significant in an update so...

Despite outgrowing FF games along time ago I was considering picking it up. Then I read up on the new game mechanics.... not thanks. Only being able to control the party leader sucks hard.

From what I'm reading about the patch on PC, we may not want it right now. It seems to break more than it fixes including your DLC stuff and you lose your gear stowed at the Peak and a bunch of other really nasty things. Given what I've read, I'd like to wait until they debug the patch.
Yep, i read it on the PC support forum as well. Seems some people are having problem with that patch. Not sure about xbox version though.

It just seems to me if Chris comes out yesterday to post "The patch is ready for download on Xbox Live" that it, I don't know, would be available for download on Xbox Live. I guess I'm expecting a bit much.
You have to remember that this is BW and they do not care about the Xbox version of DA:O. Go have a look at the amount of time BW developers have spent in the ME 2 xbox tech forum and compare it to this forum. It is very clear that BW does not care about supporting the xbox version of DA:O, so you would do well to not expect anything substantial from BW in regards to fixing this game. I would urge you not to buy the expansion, as you should realize that they WILL NOT support it, just like Origins.

That.
They are probably delaying the patches for consoles to fix what they broke on PC. Or at least let's hope that's the reason for the delay.
I am on the PC and am currently uninstalling the game to go back to the previous version.

Does this site even have Bioware employees?
Yes, they are all in the ME2 Xbox tech forum. Check it out. If you start a thread in that forum a dev will answer it within 24 hours. If you start a thread in this forum no one from BW will ever answer it....maybe if you start a DA:O bug thread in the ME2 xbox tech forum you might get an answer. I'll try it now.

I never considered it was possible to "outgrow" the games. I simply accept that I won't be able to relate to the characters anymore as well as I could. The game mechanics, graphics, battle sequences, etc. etc. are always so amazingly done that it somewhat makes up for the lack of story. (Don't get me wrong, I prefer a A+ #1 story to graphics, but sometimes the simple AWE factor is worth a look.)
I've played it briefly and I can say I have the same complaint as you. They've dumbed it down signficantly. They have left some ability to control things (and an auto-attack feature for the lazy) but yes, I do feel like it is a step down in many ways. But the graphics....frankly revolutionary. I just have to accept that I'm sitting down for a 40-60 hour movie instead of a real interactive experience. Most times I wouldn't like that, but here and there I can accept it. It's a change of pace for sure, which is not totally unwelcome.
Back on topic: No patch for me either. I'm quite happy. Seems like PC users got the shaft this time. Broken stealing is pretty bad. No thanks....

Would be nice if the Dex bug were fixed sometime..
Would be Great! If they would fix the damned poison/trap menu issue while they're at it..
