I feel young but... what is Tron? Don't hit me please.
Tron is a movie in which a computer programmer is sucked into a lifelike video game (think "The Matrix").
While inside, he fights alongside the computer program he programmed named "Tron" and they punish the atheists inside for not properly honoring the "Users".

What's up with the red suited Jeff Bridges? He looks alot younger the bearded one, it looks like his hair color isn't grey.

Not entirely true.
Bridges didn't create Tron. Boxleitner's character, Alan Bradley, did - that's why Boxleitner played Tron.
Bridges was Flynn. Flynn's counterpart in the computer program world had already been erased by the time Flynn entered the system.

Wow, that looks freakin' cool. And the soundtrack sounds epic. Or at least the track on the trailer does.

Very intrigued with this. Gonna have to grab the original on DVD and watch it with the kids before this one comes out.

To the younger people who never watched the original TRON, from 1982, here gores a little something:
The original trailer
The original lightbike sequence
Remember, this was 1982, TRON was the first movie to extensively make use of computer generated graphics.
Let's just say that TRON is for computer enthusiasts what 2001 was for astronauts.

well, i have to say that the Steamboat Willie and the TRON stages are what made me buy and finish Kingdom Hearts 2

The only thing that really interests me is the Daft Punk-composed soundtrack and the graphics. I expect the story to be subpar and the action passable at the very least, but it's not like Tron 2 is aiming to be the next film festival awards winner anyway. Might watch it for a lark.

Just saw the trailer (was at work earlier) this new movie looks awesome! Can't wait to see it as I loved the original.
BTW: There is a Tron 2.0 game that I thought was quite good if anyone is interested:

Considering that it was release almost seven years ago finding a copy might be a challenge, especially if you prefer new as in unopened.
