Ok first.

How is DA better than ME2? I notice you dont have ME2 registered, so assume you dont own it, s do not make comparisons you cannot theorise on correctly. Also, they are totally different games, so comparing is pointless.
Secondly, they are made by different teams within Bioware, so again, free dlc/paid dlc is another non argument.
Thirdly, Do not assume all pc users hack/pirate stuff. We don't. And in actuality (thouygh its never heard because the publishers do not want to believe it) it is easier to copy/hack a console game than it is a pc game...and its more widespread than it is on the pc.
Fourth, Value in relation to content is another non argument. Do you never buy a pizza because for your 10 bucks it only lasts you 15 mins? Get real and grow up.

And lastly, your a troll.

You sir can f*** yourself.  I am not a troll and have been on this community site for quite sometime.  If I wish to enact my freedom of speach, I will.  I also own ME2 and think compared to ME1 and DAO it sucks by comparison.  The story isn't even that captivating compared to DA:O.  Secondly I wouldn't waste my money on a pizza because I cook my own food.  $40 for this DLC is a awful lot, when you can buy a new game that will hold your time much longer for that price or less.

Your freedom of speech has limits...such as being abusive and abusing other members.

Not to mention the fact that freedom of speech does not exist on a privately owned forum.

I don't get the concern about money. I'd pay $100 for an expansion if it was something I really wanted to play. You only live once, do everything you can to do the things you enjoy while you have the chance. Letting a few dollars get in your way is asinine.

The limits of the law should not represent the limits of one's ideals.

The limits of law exist to prevent one's ideals from having a negative affect on others. And the "laws" here say you can't be abusive to other posters.

Doesn't matter now anyway, he changed his post to save his bacon.

Just one thing i don't understand. People aka TC complains about a 15 hour *presumed* long campain that expand on the original story to some degree, while adding new abbilities etc. But people would more then happy hand out $60 if not more for a 10 hour fps gun fest..

In defense of shooters with short campaigns, they tend to have multiplayer. The single player of MW2 may only be 5 hours long, but in total I've still probably spent something like 200 hours online.

Ferret Baudoin will rig your console/computer so the game will not work by download and follow you and bribe store clerks to only sell you the case.

Very true, this whole thread was an a matter of opinion and a question to those that are pissed that it would cost $40, 66% of the original cost of the game.

This is not the first thread like this..did you do a search? Most times it is best to add onto an already existing thread..then to start the same thing all over again, because you think you are the ONLY one that ever thought about that. :P

I think that is a wise decision..after all you are on Bioware's forums..advertising that you are going to pirate their game.

Good Luck with that. :P

I didn't say anywhere I would be hacking.  I was voting on the other guy hacking, I won't be buying either untill it comes down in price or goes to bargin bin.  Maybe even buy it used from GameStop.

Ahhh then you have reached a decision about your dilemma and managed to resolve it.

Waiting for the price to come down..sounds like a plan to me. :P

I don't have nerd rage, I have wallet rage. I as OP think its stupid to pay such a high price for an expansion to a game, that once you play through once, become repetitive the second time through.

I'll happily pay for it. Happily. I love Bioware, and I hardly play games from other companies. I'll play Tomb Raider or a military game once..maybe twice. I've played DA through twice and played different saves through 3 or 4 times. I've played ME1 through at least 20 times and ME2 3 times already. This is not to mention KOTOR or Jade. I'll gladly spend 40 bucks on something i'll keep replaying than some 9.5 rated game i play once.

Bioware's re-playability makes it worth it whether its $10 DLC or $40 XP.

Even a game as fun as Fable pales in comparison to BW stuff. I've played each fable 2 or 3 times--that's it.

Make mine Bioware.

There. Now everybody wins! :wizard:

Less anger; simply don't buy it if you find it overpriced.

Why have wallet rage? It doesnt exist. You dont need to pay for it if you dont want. If you really want it you will pay for it happily like me and vigna will. It will become repetitive? Did you miss the huge replayability in DA and ME/ME2

No, the limits of laws exist to prevent laws from having a negative effect on others. You are again making the mistake of conflating laws with ideals.

Hmm you've only played through once?   There are so many things to discover...personally I am on my 15th run.  STILL do not have all the achievements done and a few other things I want to experiment with.

It's only repetitive if you keep doing the same thing each time.   There are 6+ Origins to play...

By the time I am done with Origins I will have (since Nov 3) created 20 characters from start to finish.   Thats my goal. :)   Why?   I'm getting my money's worth yep.   Plus I do love playing DA...for real.  Keeps me away from those MMOs hehe.

I'm with everybody else. What's the point of complaining about it when you don't have to buy it? I've paid $60 for games that were garbage and paid less for games that have kept me entertained for hundreds of hours. Hell, I brought the Collector's Edition of Fallout 3 and took it back, Worst Mistake of my Life ™.
