Awesome! Riot cannons are among my favorite concept weapons. Been waiting on something like this. Can't wait to try out this Arc Projector on husk hordes. ^,^
Speaking of which.. anybody else think it looks like Shepard walked up to a scion and ripped its arm off when holding this thing? XD

Great work BW. Looking forward to Firewalker, some new armor pieces, small weapons and more alternate outfits for the crew.

Question.. heard lots of people mention how it tears through shields. How good is it on armor (e.g. most synthetics and varren on Insanity)?

Hey I just tried to download it today, but I can't log on to the Cerberus network. I keep getting "A sign-in change occurred. Sign out of your gamer profile to continue". Plus it asks me if I want the update that is available, but I can't download it because it keeps logging me out. Now my 360 take 30 seconds to start up, everything is slow. Anybody else has this problem?

Eh, tried it out on some Geth on Insanity, didn't find myself all too impressed. Likely of better use when you're dealing with a horde of enemies who aren't spewing mass accellerated slugs out at you.

Like Husks....

.... corral them in, a bolt of this to strip their armor, and then area throw for the win.

it's deffinetely the N7 armor. i recognize most of the parts...

asymetryc shoulder pads, those arm guards that boost weapon dmg. the chest&leg pieces are meant for shield bonus i believe.

Quarian/Geth armor? where did that come from?

So what’s next, something like the BFG 9000 from Doom? The Halo energy sword? Kids Next Door 2x4 Technology weapons like the T.H.U.M.P.E.R (Teddy Hurling Ultra Microwave Powered Ejection Rifle)?

This Arc Projector thing feels like a weapon I know but just cant put my finger on from where. Or maybe it was from Raiders of the Lost Ark where they open up the ark at the end and everyone gets zapped?

As much as I like free stuff there comes a point where you have to ask; Did we really need another heavy weapon? I feel like I’m packing more heavy weapons than some countries have for their armies. Why no new armor or other weapons to balance the game out a little? The Cerberus Assault Armor and Eviscerator Shotgun was a step in the right direction even if the armor had no customization options like color and patterns or the lack of an optional helmet. Hopefully any new armor will utilize that customization feature that we can only use for the N7 armor (maybe some new patterns some day?) and any new weapons (no more heavies please) will be just as cool as this Arc gun.

Just like to say cheers BW for the new weapon & if's theirs anyway you can patch the dlc armors so the helmet comes off in conversations (like in dragon age) that would be great.

It's really good against husks cuz it also slows em down and they walk instead of running at u.Helped me a lot in Reaper IFF mission at the end!

No, this one isn't useless. By which I mean: it doesn't half-kill enemies and leave you utterly defenseless while they pour blaster bolts into your head before you have a chance to recharge.

I meant to reply to this in the other thread where it was mentioned. But that said, yes it is. It is functionally the same. This doesn't kill foes all the way, either, unless they're at the point where one more shot would do the trick anyway. And if you got slaughtered as a Dark Trooper, that's your own fault for not learning to use all the tools at your disposal. You had a jetpack to avoid getting plugged, not to mention an extra load of thermal detonators. Blast. Chuck detonator. Boost away. Easy.
