Any one else notice that Shepard is wearing some new N7 armor pieces in that second pick?

Might be a completely new armor: I don't see any of the N7 markings on there. Hard to tell because of the position though.
The texture pattern, the placement of the lights, and the belt that he's wearing all look unfamiliar to me. It looks kind of like a lighter armor, which would be a welcome addition. Although it would be nice if there were some lighter shoulder pads to go with it.
It also appears that its not a new one piece armor either; but actually new pieces for the N7 customizable armor, which is great cause I love customizing my N7 armor so much that I never use the more powerful DLC armors even though I have all of them (Terminus, Cerberus, Inferno, Blooddragon, and Collector). Plus, I don't like wearing a helmet in cutscenes.

Could be a tease of content in Firewalker.

You'll be learning more about that later. You didn't think we only had the Firewalker and Kasumi ideas on tap did you?

You G.D sadist!
Trying this out soon. (Though I probably should've made a save among my three playthroughs that actually had quests to do.)

Was it an accident or did you want us to stumble over the new armor? It's a bit obvious. "Oh, shiny new weapon ... wait a moment, i don't know this armor." Not that subtleChris Priestly wrote...

I doubt it was an accident. I'd guess it's meant to keep us interested in ME2 and eager for info, which certainly seems to have worked.Recnamoken wrote...
