Renegades may think they're so cool, they're all that and a bag of impact wrenches. Their ending in the first game may be the default. But you know what ? Paragon is where it's at. We won't let fear compromise who we are.

This is a thread for all those players out there who just love being a Paragon and making the galaxy a better place!

It actually surprises me how many people I see playing straight renegade. 80-90% of all youtube videos for ME2 will give you a hardcore renegade Shepard who's a douche to everyone.

I personally can't bring myself to do that so I usually end up with a 100% paragon bar and a 40% renegade bar at most.

I'm a bad enough dude to pull of Paragon

Besides its all a matter of perspective, I may end up Paragon but inside I am in fact so damn evil...

A better place for me!

There's some renegade moves out there that are pretty awesome, for sure (the renegade interrupt on Miranda's loyalty mission comes to mind), but honestly I hate playing a renegade because a good 85% of it is just being an **** for no apparent reason.

I pulled Paragon, but gave the base to TIM. Second playthrough I didn't. I don't like playing Renegade, I like some of the intimidation options, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth abusing these characters I really like.

And what, Renegades let fear consume them? :|

I play pure Paragon, normally. Except for the base. I saved that. d:

Haha, exactly my line of thinking.  I always make a point to be a Paragon when someone is in need or if I think my "charm" will lead me to a better option...but if someone stands in my way?  *RENEGADE INTERRUPT*

Plus, anyone who doesn't headbutt Gatatog on Grunt's loyalty mission is missing out bigtime.

The Shepard that gets imported is always Paragon. I think ME2 rewards you more for the Paragon actions. The Rachni, Shiala... hell, even seeing Fist again. But Renegade actions are more amusing. Just those sudden "WTF, Shepard?!" moments. I find it difficult to be that much of a jerk for an entire game, though. I imagine most people would have multiple Shepards, so I wonder how many of them consider their Paragon or Renegade versions their "default" choice.

ETA: Actually, I say my Shepard is always Paragon, but my Renegade bar does tend to go up. It's usually 100% Paragon with, I dunno, 40% Renegade. 'Cause, you know, sometimes batarians are "working too hard."

I'm almost 100% paragon. I'm only renegade during combat interrupts where it doesn't make sense to let the enemy finish talking before you shoot. And when I run into batarians. I hate batarians.

Sounds like someone needs a paragon interrupt hug...

I prefer Paragon, but I play different Shepards as Paragon, half-and-half, and Renegade. I also play some Shepards who strive to gain neither Paragon nor Renegade points, 'neutral' alignment, if you will. Renegade should really be named "Immature", in my opinion, because Shepard just acts like a sulky brat most of the time when playing as a Renegade.

This is usually how I end up too.  Although I wish I could play as a Paragade, and less a paragon.  Sometimes killing someone is the best answer, especially when letting them live means they are going to continue doing bad Sh*t.

And sometimes people should just say goodbye.

I play pure Paragon, but on a rare occasion certain things I can't pass up. In ME2 it is pushing the guy out the window, dropping the crate in Miranda's quest, and shocking the guy working on the gunship.

Mostly because I'd do them in real life--they are too opportune.

Curses! Foiled again! Figures that our peaceful gathering would be interrupted by some dastardly renegade. Oh well, there is but one response for a proper paragon...

"I'm just going going to burn over here. If you want to think we're burning together, go ahead."

I don't push the guy out the window, but I do headbutt the krogan.
