I saw a post about Quarion Loyalty armor in the ME2 forums and it made me think about something for ME1:

I have played through ME1 around 10 times and always seem to have trouble getting armor for Tali.  On a few play throughs, I never see any additional armor sets as lewt or for purchase at stores for her.

What's the deal?  Is there any way to get the system to prompt more amor choices for Tali, especially the Colossus Armor?

I play the Xbox 360 version.  Thanks in advance for any insight!

Bring down the sky, if you are high enough level and you choose Quarian armor you get colossus.



Any where which has the kassa fabrications licence has a small chance of stocking it. The licence is on C-Sec requestion officer, after you buy it then you can get it on the Normandy. For Quarian Colossus (Turian and Krogan too) any merchant with the non-human armor option has a chance of stocking it too, regardless of licence if you are high enough level. You can use the shop reload trick to keep trying until they have it. Save before you check a shops inventory, when you reload that save and check again the inventory will be randomly selected again. If you have the space installing ME on the hard drive makes it a lot quicker. Personally I have found the non-human armor option the best route but others have had the opposite experience.

Yeah around a lvl 40 they start to carry them on the citadel too. Lower markets Morlan, just save before you talk to him about non-human armors, and see if he has any quarian armors. If not, reload try again. I tried that this weekend on my third playthrough and it worked on probably my 3rd or 4th try at lvl 43. I am amazed how rare the quarian armors are! Tali looks great in her Colossus IX armor I must say. And she kicked so much more ass after that. I personally took the omni-tool from the Bring Down the Sky as I was an engineer...

You have a chance of getting Colossus X armour from Shepard's apartment if you run through all of the Pinnacle Station DLC as well.

Hmm... I don't think I've ever had enough motivation to change Tali's armor. No offense, just saying. lol

Apart from keeping her alive a lot longer - Quarian Colossus is by far the best looking armor for her: Darth Zorah ftw.

yeah i got the colossus armour for tali from the bringing down the sky dlc, but as for goot armour for her appearing it seems very random. actually my last play through i was finging more quarian armour than i was turian which was a strange turn of events, sucked because i already had the good armour

Thanks for the insight everyone. Much appreciated. I never bothered to purchase the Pinnacle Station DLC. I may go ahead and get it. I have some MS points burning a hole in my "pocket" as it were.

With 9 million credits I ended up with about 10 Quarian Colossus X armors last time I did 'my shopping'...

To bad Tali's look never changes. Im on the xbox and there is so issue that her armor looks the same in color and everything, no matter what you change it too.

On the XBox, I've gotten her into bright yellow and bright blue armors as well as the nomal grey, but never colossus.
