I pre-ordered ME2 and, since my Xbox is online all the time, signed up for the Cerberus Network.  Well, I'm disappointed in it so far.  For my second playthrough, I want to completely remove the Cerberus Network.  So I have two questions:

1) How do I remove the Cerberus Network?  Is there just some file I need to delete from my hard drive?

2) Is it safe to remove it after I complete one playthrough but before I start another one?

Try going into the options, and unchecking the option that auto-logs you into your EA account before you start a new game.

If that's not enough to kill the DLC, you could try going to your HDD from the dashboard and deleting all the downloaded DLC manually (You can always download it again later from the authorized gamertag's download history).

I take no responsibility if you follow my suggestions and screw up your game. Also, with no DLC, you won't be able to load your previous saves that will require them.

Make sure you can get the CN DLC from XBL.

I understand that.  What I want to know is if I start another playthrough, will it attempt to load information from my previous playthrough.  And if so, will that load fail if I had Zaeed on my team but there's no Cerberus Network on my console?

You really don't need to delete the Cerberus Network. You can just ignore the optional sidequest and materials. What about it exactly are you trying to get rid of, anyway?

There is a high risk that if you delete it, you will not be able to restore it or continue with your first playthrough. It would be far safer to just walk past Zaeed.

Wow, what an odd request.  Image IPB

The stuff released on it so far consists of a few guns a few sets of armour and a new team member.

Just don't equip them or start a conversation.

I just don't understand the need to bin everything just because you don't want to use them. What if something you like the look of comes along later?

It's like the people that moaned about "Frictionless Material X" counteracting all heat build up in ME1.  It's a single player game and won't effect anyone else anyway, so if it bothers you that much just don't use it.
