I'm having difficulty finding out how to buy a new Cerberus Code. I recently bought ME2 off a friend (he told me he'd used his code) and later found that I could buy a code myself. How would I go about doing this? Every time I try to, it sends me to the ME store, which says I should follow the instructions on my main menu. But the link on the main menu led me to there, after I clicked through from a place to redeem the code I don't even have yet. So how do I buy the code?

That's the link that takes me to the store, when I click buy, then BW points.

On the left side of the screen towards the top there is a button that says profile, put your mouse over it and you should see add points. By the way its best if you tell your browser to remember your login.

You might want to check out the Points.bioware.com help forum. There have been off an on issues with people trying to buy Points where they can't get to the points website, the redirect from this site doesn't work. Mostly focused at Dragon Age, but as far as I can tell its the same underlying website to buy points for the Cerberus Network.

I had a look there, but my problem seems relatively unique. If it is unique (and I'll blame Windows 7 for some reason) then hopefully that means it should work on another computer (which I will have access to on Friday). Hopefully then I can buy it.

Thanks for all the help anyway, I may be back though if that doesn't work.

You can buy it here for 1200 Microsoft points or $15USD.
Depending on the version of your game, the code comes with it.

Points buying points.bioware.com/web/lockbox/checkout

Cany blame Win7, as thats what I'm on.

That link also redirects to my home. Also, I can't use Microsoft Points if it's for the PC version, can I? I went through it that way, but it only listed the option to "Download to Xbox" so I figured it probably wouldn't work. Strange that Windows 7 isn't to blame then. That's just weird. Anyway, I'll hopefully have a solution doing it on a different PC on Friday.

Try clearing out your catche and all forms... then log back in to the site and have it remember your passwords... and select the area you need in the menus... I sometimes have problems with this site too... this atleast works for me..

If everything else fails, try Opera 10.50 or Google Chrome. Both browsers are free and passed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid3 compatibility test.

Guys, Do you have any ideas how to buy points if you get a message that there are no available paying methods.

I am in a very miserable situation :) I got ME2, passed it all, but I bought standart edition and want more. However, I can't buy Cerberus code for now because there are problems with localization...

Can you buy one at all for PS3? The link given only says you can get them for Xbox and PC

Try asking in the PS3 support forum instead of the PC support forum.

This thread was well and truly BURIED in the farthest corner of the graveyard, and SHOULD NOT have been disturbed, either.
