When playing ME2 the Disabled Collector Ship mission will never show up. I collected all squad members except Legion and completed all loyalty missiosn for them. I still have not been asked to investigate the disabled collector ship. I am unable to complete a playthrough because of this. I am connected online and have current patches and Cerberus Network DLC.
It was working for many playthroughs until I started using Cerberus Network DLC.
I'm going to try deleting and redownloading then if that doesn't work, not using DLC at all.
Ask for anything you want to know.
[I don't know the exact trigger for the mission but assume after getting all squad members that I'm screwed before trying a new playthrough.]

Hmmn. I'm on my 2nd playthrough, and this time around I really think I should have been able to go there by now---I'm worried after seeing this post.

I think there is probably a required number of missions or character level that you have to attain before the mission pops up. Go play two or three side missions and it should appear.
