Is there any way to modify your Shepherd after the initial commencement? I am a perfectionist and I finally got everything how I wanted, except for his chin. I know there were cheats that allowed you to do so in Dragon Age: Origins by accessing the console, but is there something similar in ME2?

1) make a new character exactly how you like it
2) use the save game editor
3) open the save game of the new character
4) export face
5) open the save game of the character you are using
6) import face that you exported
7) save the character
8) load the save in mass effect
you should now have your modified face without having to worry about coding it wrong

Lovely, but is there a way to do the opposite? Meaning, can I do anything to modify the face of a character I am already using? I wouldn't care about starting over at the beginning of the game since Mass Effect 2 is so damn short.

There might be some other programs to edit an exported face but as far as I know once you accept your face you can't change it again from in the game.

Do you have any idea where I could start looking for such a program?

Probably try searching these forums I would guess or do a web search.

I've tried copy/pasting some of the player/appearance/morph head vectors/parameters from one save file to another, but there are several thousand Vectors in the "LOD0 Vertices" all with separate X,Y,Z components. I'm guessing all of the face data is stored here.
So If you want make the face you like, then copy over each x,y,z point individually to the save file you want... have at it. It would be easier to just start the game over tho:sick:

Siggs1 the steps I gave are far more easier. Anyhow he wants to just change one portion which you can't do in the game unless you start over.

Does that ID thing in the SQUAD section, where you apply skill points, relate to the choices in making a face? If so, I could just copy it down on a piece of paper and restart with that.
