With no evidence to back it up, I propose that sovereign was of Rachni Design dna..

So the question is how?

It looks like a Rachni kinda, The Rachni egg I think was found on the derlict reaper and then cerberus Took it over and made it a station. Did  cerberys have something to do with peak 15? and I swear the Rachni Queen said something about How her children sang a differnt song reaper indoctrination anyone? like i said not much evidence but yeh... thoughts?

I thought Sovereign looked more like a cuttlefish than it did a bug.

Besides the Rachni emerged onto the galactic scene AFTER the Protheans went extinct - and since Sovereign was the vanguard that was to watch the progress of organic life for this next cycle I very much doubt he was made by mixing millions of Rachni into a Reaper smoothie. The time lines just don't fit.

You could just pretend? and wait whats this got to do with Protheans? and I aruge the point that if you leave something which has a mind to a certan degree, after a while it will begin to think its God Soveregin was prob has major ego issues because he was bullied, but no jokes aside I think Im still right.

An outer shell is placed over the Reapers, so it could look totally different underneath. For example, the Human-Reaper at the end of the game would have had a shell, too, he wouldn't have been flying through space like Terminator-meets-Superman.

Yeh, and it could be a Rachni shell. wasnt that reaper as well killed 37 millon years ago as well? So this points to evidence that something killed it New race time for M.E 3

I'm bringing the Protheans into this for the sake of providing a time line to show you that it simply isn't possible for this to have happened. Besides if the Rachni WERE sentient and advanced enough 50,000 years ago to be considered for milkshake status the Reapers would have wiped them out like they did the Protheans after they served their use.
