Would this be a good point to remind you that Utha was slain? Had half her head caved in, and was completely dead? That would make your suspicion awkward were this a physical encounter.

Eh, I don't remeber Utha being killed in The Calling. I'm pretty sure that the book only mentions that the two of them (Utha and the Architect) simply disapperaed after the fight with the First Enchanter.

I'm thinking that the dwarf there is her, though they would had to have taken some liberties with her. She was mainly a monk in the Calling, and yeah, she wasnt really recognisable at at the end of The Calling. However, shes got Copper hair, and shes a female dwarf whos at the side of the Architect.

As I said in a diffrent thread. I think that the voice actor really hit the nail on the head with the voice for the Architect. Pretty much how I imagined it from reading the book. Props to him. =)

he seems like a cool enemy I want to fight. Too bad he is a mage type.

Mage fights aren't that bad. Have you ever fought Irenicus? He's one tough s.o.b to kill.

Yeah, Utha might've cracked her head, but it never said she died. Only that she was gone.

"As the soldiers moved, however, Duncan scanned the rest of the chamber and paused.

"Where is the Architect" he asked. "And Utha? Where did they go?"

"Gone," Bregan rasped.

I've got the Kindle version, otherwise I'd give you a page number.

From what I understand. They're taking a whole hell of a lot of liberties from the book. The Architect looks nothing like he's suppose to. His hand is not even missing.

Go back a couple of paragraphs to when the inujry occurrs.Possibly a page or two. The way it's written she's clearly slain (or at least ahs most of her teeth knocked out and half her head caved in). Although a body does not need to be living to be taken away. She could have been dragged or carried (but that doesn't quite tally).

Which isn't neccessarily a bad thing as The Calling didn't seem to be as well written as The Stolen Throne (and constantly reminded me of an old episode of The Outer Limmits whenever it featured The Architect). His big evil plan (I'll disclose no details here) felt out of place in a Fantasy setting and had more in common with Science Fiction than Dragon Age "as we know it".

Interesting. Is it just me or is his body morphing? At the shot of his face without the mask you see a rather "melted off" side of the face however this does not seem to be the case in the scenes where he has a mask on, even if the eye's covered.

Or maybe this means wardens will be given the chance to punch him in the face. Hard.

I know it's not that bad. It's just one of my pet peeves. I would tell how I felt about the LOTR movies. But I will not. It will be considered spam.

The whole Achitect thing isn't going  to stop me from buying Awakening. I think it's going to be great.
