Laptop Purchasing Suggestions

Hi, I'm looking for a laptop for college and I want to play Mass Effect 1 and 2 on it, does anyone have any suggestions on which ones I should look at, my price range is under $600. :pinched:

For that lowball number, you can forget anything more graphically intense than 2D casual games, or buy an older model, used, that had good video in its day, and hasn't gotten so old it's no longer game-capable.

Yeah you're not going to find a capable gaming laptop for that price. You won't even be able to buy a decent desktop for that.

Make sure no matter what you get that it has nVidia or ATI graphics, since intel has yet to reach the bar.

Also make sure that it has dedicated graphics memory

Depending on what you already have available, such as display, keyboard, mouse, etc.  It is possible to build from scratch and get a basic desktop system with Medium Video assembled for not much more than $600, shopping around online for all best prices, and avoiding most Intel options as too expensive for that price class. 

"4gb" is probably l33t for 4 GBs.
