My curent is actually Black with yellow tint and dark gray pattern 2.

But my first three were Gold with Brown pattern 1

I like the capacitor chest plate. It looks awesome. With vanguards I use the sentry interface. With soldiers and infiltrators I use the recon hood. Capacitor chest plate with amplifier plates, stabilizing gauntlets and stimulator conduits. I like the gold. It makes you look like an astronaut. Also the platinum looks really cool. I usually go black or camo though.

I think different Shepards look good in different colors. My Paragons tend to favor bright colors in primary and secondary triads, the more middle-of-the-road Shepards favor browns, greys and tans, while my Renegade Shepards favor deep colors with black. My most Renegade character, Ashley Shepard, has the deep metallic red with black and brighter red accents, while my most Paragon character, Devon Shepard, has red, yellow and blue armor most of the time. I think the only color for armor I don't like is white, it just looks too Stormtrooperey.

I like rolling Pink and Yellow stripes often. I also like a black and dark blue camo pattern.

My favorite armor types are the +health ones (asymmetrical defense shoulders, aegis vest, life support webbing) and I have a few favorite color schemes. I actually do like gold on an engineer, but some of my favorites are the black with yellow trim and pattern to match the rest of your loyal squad mate colors. I also like the good old black and red "Kassa Fabrication" color scheme (not the default red, but the other, brighter red), and the dark crimson red with the metallic material (far right texture).



I tried white and I agree with the above poster, too stormtrooper-like. I also couldn't really get into the camo patterns. I also can't do the far right blue color. Too Optimus Prime-like. Really trying to find some other good colors for my other characters.

I usually use the shield things (well to say it easy... all the last options xD)

And I favor metallic Black (the last one again xD) with Recon Hood and metallic red for the stripe on the arm

I find the armor color depends on the Shepard; my infiltrator paragon sticks with a blue/grey camo, while my paragade soldier rocks the iron man look, and my renegade adept refused to give up the colossus armor from ME1 and rolls in black with red accents.

I prefer really dark blue with a lighter blue pattern with white trimmings.

aaaahd i have a dark grey tint1, light blue tint2 and no patterns with the headshot visor.

I go with a solid Black with grey trim, using the last material. As a soldier using the Recon hood, it gives me a stealthy spec-ops sort of look.
