It might be interesting to see how it pans out-- after you pick your pre-service history and psychological profile, your Shepard would start out as a teenage or pre-teen in whatever location your pre-service history states (Earth, Mindoir, or some space station).



Personally, I'd like to see how Shepard was like as an Earthborn ... gangs and no parents ... I picture it to be like APB somewhat.

Hmm, it would interesting to experience the Skylian Blitz from Shepard's perspective. Another potentially awesome (yet tragic) event would be reliving the raid on Mindoir - no fighting would have to be involved, but it would certainty be interesting nonetheless.

It would have to be six or more mini-campaigns, one for each part of Shepard's origin, so I don't think it's too likely. That said, Shepard is badly lacking in characterization so any extra backstory we get on him would be welcome.

They could always do it for ME3... Flashbacks are a wondrous thing. I agree that it would be awesome.

If this were suggested for any other game I'd probably laugh at the absurdity of the idea in all honesty. But for Mass Effect, I actually think this could be a wonderful concept if implemented properly - especially in regards to Shepard's service history.

That would be AWESOME. I chose the single survivor background, It would be tragic, but would still be awesome to see how you survived the attack on akuze. Would also like to see my parents dang it! Shepards mom sounds like a total badass lol

instead of dlc and ppl loving to steal my ideas.... why not just create a mass effect game where we play as captain anderson? base it on the revelations novel

lol If so, I wanna be able to use my current Shepard *Model* , Keep some continuity! Wouldn't it also mean introducing new party members? Of course some of them may or may not survive, etc? Lol of course no one but you will survive if you chose Soul Survivor lol
