Lil help with the fish

So I know that at one point Kelly offers to feed your fish. How do I trigger this? Sick of all my fish dying all the time ( i just can't seem to remember to feed them). What I mean is is it just an option after so many missions, or can i do something to propmt it

She'll offer to feed your fish for you after you invite her to come up to your cabin for dinner.

There's only so many options of dialog, do i just keep saying "I'll do more than catch you" over and over like a retard?

Typically I've had it trigger after the collector ship mission I'm not sure if that's for everyone but that's when it seems to typically trigger for me. Your conversations should advance naturally after you first talk to her and do the I'll do more then catch you line.

You unlock new dialogues with Kelly with each new recruited squadmate, and following plot missions like the Collector Ship (and maybe Horizon, I'm not sure). Every so often you'll get an option to flirt with her; pick it. At some point you'll get the option to invite her up for dinner.
