What's the 1st thing you do?

Personally, I grab my biggest gun I brought with me and end his nonsense, asap.

Usually I shoot a bunch of collectors while he's hovering. That way i've minimized the number of enemies shooting at me by the time he becomes a threat.

I kill the scion raping my face, then deal with it. On veteran anyway, I've never been killed by Harbinger. Ever. He's never even been much of a threat, so I just deal with him when it's convenient for me.

Kill everything else he could take control of, THEN kill the one Harby's controlling. It only really works well for me when the one under control is waaaaaaay the hell away.

Finally the question arises.

As a Vanguard, I whip out my shotgun and jet around taking out every other Collector that isn't Harbinger, that way when I do kill Harbinger he can't come back.

As I recently discovered when first playing a Vanguard for an Insanity playthrough, this strategy is insanely fun and exciting. Lots of focus required, though.

Just wish the Collector Beam weapon (whatever it's name is) worked off of a heat system (re: ME1) instead of needing Power Cells. If they did that, I'd use that one on any of my collector missions as it's just so nice to have against them. Otherwise, I'd bring the rocket launcher or grenade launcher for some "Boom Boom" love.

I once had Jack use Pull on a Collector half a second before Harbinger took control. It was hilarious to watch him float away and fall over the edge of the platform. Ha-hah!
