If this is already in the game I appologize (I'm not that far in). Also, I put this in the Mods I like to see thread, but that seems like a black hole of never gonna hear about it again.
Is it possible to make hidden object/containers that appear/highlight when holding the Tab key only show when you are withing a certain range? This range would be defined by your Cunning score. This range would also obviously be changeable based on the object/how small it is/how hard it is to see.
This would allow hidden objects like the ring in the tree stump near the start of BG1, etc. It would also allow hidden switches/triggers for opening secret doors.
I assume this is possible (and might even be in the game already) I'd just like to hear for sure.
Is this possible? Hidden items based on Cunning skill.

Ahh i get it. Hmm interesting. I would want to create a new sword for my rogue and hide it in a rock.

I believe there is capability for it already. I don't want to spoil anything but there is a point in the game where things are only visible under certain circumstances and I would assume that could be keyed to cunning

One way to approach this that comes to mind is to create a trigger that, when a party member enters it, checks their cunning stat and if it's high enough sets the container the sword is in to be interactive. When a container is set to be non-interactive it's basically an inert bit of scenery.
