I'm trying to purchase some DA:O content and when I enter points.bioware.com it just kicks me to the search engine, when I try to use the "expand your game" link it just kicks me to my bioware social home. any tips?

yea guys i been back and forth with support....everyone you know who is haveing this problem...put a ticket in with support and keep posting the problem in the forums.

Found the problem everyone it doesnt like the fact i changed emails.....it wants to keep the orignal email i assigned my ea account as soon i could switch back to my original email...i got access to the bioware points stuff..

talked to EA Dragon Age support over live chat. Stated they are aware of the issue and it will be fixed shortly.... I believe it when I see it.

well i bought this game back when it came out....and the bioware points site worked when i put it back to my old email associated with my account.....looks newly develop accounts are getting screwed

Could be new accounts, I created this one just months ago. But the email that is associated with it is the one I registered with. The password has been changed, but not the email.
I talked with support yesterday, they gave the stock advice of 'It's your browser, use something else and clear the cache' and so forth. Tried four browsers, one I had not even installed before, and had the same problem. The add link doesn't work, and points.bioware.com is an endless loop of java redirects. As for support, they either haven't read that update or don't care.
Wish I had the time to sit in their 'live chat' again and talk their tech through checking their java code instead of them talking me through how to remove browser cookies.

this problem seems to only affect people with recently updated email addresses. this includes new accounts (created in the last few months) and long-term users who've simply changed their email address. if you are a long-time user, changing your email back to the original seems to fix the problem (according to others on the forums), while newer users (like myself) are out of luck until the problem is solved.

I think you have identified the issue. But what I am curious about is if it affects ALL new email addresses or just a small majority.

It might just have been fixed since I just managed to purchase the points needed for RtO and currently downloading it now.
