This normally happens when I travel to a new area where I talk to someone just before entering (such as in the original camp you go to after completing whatever quest your origin story begins with and the town with the Arl Allistair wants you to go see). After the cutscene, it comes up with all-black loading screen with a simple "Loading" icon in the bottom right which is moving. However, I once left my computer for a full ten minutes and it still didn't load. I was able to enter the war camp with my mage because it autosaved after the discussion but I can't enter the town the Arl is in.
I didn't experience this problem on my rogue character, but I prefer this one. If it helps, here are the details:
Female Elf Mage, Level 7
Shapeshifter
Has anyone experienced this/does anyone know a solution? Also, is it fixed in patch 1.01? If it does, I might download it but I'd prefer until the complaints about problems the patch causes are addressed.
Also, I play on a PC with specs above or at the reccomended specs (aside from the 2.2 GHz processor).
