I mean cause Soverign didn't take on the citadel fleet alone it had heaps of geth backup so you cant really say Soverign took on the whole fleet on its own..
Big huge space fight would be mean as I reckon.
Wouldn't it be sweet if the reapers actually invade in ME3 and have this huge like space fight

And who you let live will very likely determine just how many survive their attack.
No Legion-geth, the upper quadrants are toast. No BatWrex and Grunt the Boy-Wonder with the legion of super krannt behind them, the Asari are hosed, no Rachni counter attack, the Krogans become extinct, and probably the Salarians along with them.
Shepard dies or the Normandy goes down, Cerberus and the Alliance undermine each other and are crushed, bringing no help to the besieged Turians.

That would be kind of neat. We don't know just how far away the Reapers actually are from reaching the Milky Way though. It's possible we could defeat them before they enter our space. Just a thought...

I think a fleet battle is a given, but I think it is doubtful that is what will beat the Reapers. One damn ship nearly obliterated an entire Alliance fleet and it was stationary at the time. If Sovereign was in full attack mode, it could have just rammed through the human cruisers. Thousands of those ships versus the finest fleet the sentient races can gather? Crushing Reaper victory.
