It takes time, but once it's done it's a great feeling. Don't lose the encouragement! Sheesh, if I told you about all the difficulties we had... I just spent four days wanting to smash my computer, and finally yesterday I got that Sanga convo working (half of it was magic, though, I still hate the toolset).



PMing another modder always helps, even if it's just for mental support. :-)

Like I say in the description (and the readme), the mod still has no voice. It will have voice when I release V1. All the voicing is in the works, so it will take a while longer.

I know what you mean; just getting Lealion to join the party had me wanting to pull out my hair more than once. Now that I've got that part working, getting her to appear in camp out of the party is giving me fits; "help?"

You've been a big help, even if I haven't ended up using the scripts you showed me to do things. I know they should work for me, with the appropriate modifications, but they don't. I do have Lealion and Rory in the party at the same time, so things aren't all bad.

Just popping in to say I will be interested to see this when you finally put the "v1" stamp on it.  Just thinking about the effort involved makes this ol' dwarf's noggin ache.

I normally shy away from "companion mods" (esp. the plethora available for BG2) but there's always a first time, eh?

Aww :-) Well, hope you like it when you finally play it. :-)

I'm just cheering for Torilund and Jay, who are working in the VO... of around 2000 lines... :-/ But it will be worth it. ;-)

Some small VO status:



"Ahh, some major nice news!



All the interjections are recorded, FaceFX'd and etc. They're so damned good!



The initiated convos dlg is also recorded, FaceFX'd and etc. :-D



The major dlg, which is around 1230 lines long is well underway (509 lines recorded). :-D



And the sound set is not started, it's around 150ish lines.



I'd like to thank Tori and Jay for recording, editing, going to bed late, re-recording when I think a line needs to be changed to sound differently, re-record yet again if I need a change in a line and overall put up with my requests. Also for being so perfectionist 99,9% of the lines they send are so damned perfect it almost makes my head "asplode".



I can say my favourites are when Rory is über pissed (the ones where the PC lets Alistair die, omg, or when the PC does so many bad deeds Rory screams), and I'll recommend you guys to play the fade at least once with Rory, because the recordings of his nightmare are so damned good! Also, make him pissed if you will, just to hear Rory getting angry. Jay is great. X-D



Anyways, this is a big thank you for Tori and Jay :-D



Now, I also want to thank TaHol, who is playing the mod for the 1000000th time with a private B5 which is half voiced and has all the fixes (that are all hopefully working).



I don't know what this mod would be without her testings and zillion reports, and all the help she gives to solve them.



And finally, thank YOU for playing this mod, for all your reports and comments that help to make it better.

Hi!

This is the first time I'm posting a comment although I have read many

But I'm having an issue with this mod for Ser Gilmore because I can't seen to have any kind of option that leads to a romance! And I'm getting really frustated! I have him at 100% (friendly) although I always try to push the sentiment in the other direction, if you know what I mean

And also when it comes the time for Alistair to make some juice gossip about my other companions he doesn't talk about Ser Gilmore.

I have installed the 1.03 pacth and maybe that's the problem but I had him since I sarted the new game so...



I'm sorry for bothering you but I really like this mod!

So please help.

Keep playing, I'm sure Rory will talk. Remember this mod develops slower relationship-wise than the vanilla npcs.
