Any thoughts as to what is going on? Tried reinstalling already.
Dragon Age 1.03 Patch - No Stamina, Can't Cast Or Attack, Can't Get Hit

I don't get it its annoying the **** out of me I just got to the part where the night time attack starts and I cant damage or attack the monsters

hey guys i had the same problem, this is what worked for me:
deleting DA manually and then reinstall. i know you might think: "No way man, all my saves will be lost!" but not if you follow the instructions below
(take the "Characters" folder from your: MyDocuments/bioware/dragonAge and paste it to desktop. Then remove DA like below
after reinstall, put the character folder from your desktop (or where you kept it) back in Documents/Bioware/dragonAge. now the game is removed, reinstalled and you still have your saves
Although you do have to install possible Mods/DLC again...
Dragon age should be version 1.01 again after remove and reinstall. (i suggest not to update to 1.03 again) for the same problem might show up again..
To manually uninstall Dragon Age: Origins, follow the steps below.
Backup the saved game data in Windows XP:
Click on the Start button and select My Documents.
Open the BioWare folder.
Open the Dragon Age folder.
Right-click on the Characters folder and select Cut.
Right-click on your Desktop and select Paste.
To restore your Dragon Age saved game files, move the folder mentioned above back into the Dragon Age folder.
Backup the save data in Windows Vista:
Click on the Start button and select Documents
Open the BioWare folder.
Open the Dragon Age folder.
Right-click on the Characters folder and select Cut.
Right-click on your Desktop and select Paste.
To restore your Dragon Age saved game files, move the folder mentioned above back into the Dragon Age folder.
Delete the game files (in the default location):
Click on the Start button and select Computer.
Double-click on the Local Disk (C:) drive folder.
Open the Program Files folder.
Right-click on the Dragon Age folder and select Delete.
(Warning: Changes to the registry can cause your computer to operate improperly, so please follow these instructions exactly as they are written.)

Perform the steps listed below to back-up your system's registry. This step is important in case something goes wrong in the process of editing your registry. The back-up you create below will allow you to restore your registry.
Click the Start button (Windows button on Windows Vista) on the Windows Taskbar.
Click Run.
Type regedit into the available text field, and click OK.
If you are using Windows 2000/XP/Vista, click File, and select Export.
If you are using Windows 95/98/ME, click Registry, then select Export Registry.
Select All under Export Range.
Title the file 'backup' and click on Save.
Delete the registry keys:
Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder.
Expand the SOFTWARE folder.
Expand the BioWare folder.
Right-click on the Dragon Age folder and select Delete.
Collapse the BioWare folder.
Expand the Electronic Arts folder.
If there is a second Electronic Arts folder, expand that as well.
Right-click on the Dragon Age folder and select Delete.
Collapse the Electronic Arts folder.
Collapse the second Electronic Arts folder, if present.
Expand the Microsoft folder.
Expand the Windows folder.
Expand the CurrentVersion folder.
Expand the Uninstall folder.
