Um, have any of you checked the Bioware store recently? It says that there's another 180 citadel prints on sale soon, along with new ones of the illusive man, afterlife, and the collectors.

Ive looked on ebay, done a google and been on EA store what exactly is thing aka lithograph? What purpose does it have, what does it look like??

That is indeed amazing!  I still need to get my hands on an Ilium lithograph though!

Here you can see very poor quality pictures of other people's lithographs up for sale:

Those pictures do no justice to the actual quality however; Even the pictures on the Bioware site hardly do them justice:

A lithograph is: http://en.wikipedia....wiki/Lithograph .. Yes, I'm lazy. But just read the top sentences, they give it away. And they all look amazing, no doubt worth the money if you're an art enthusiast, and at the same time a fan of the game.

It's a limited edition print, each is numbered and if I remember correctly also signed. they are rarely done in more than the hundreds.

Just checked the link above, and every lithograph says it's 250$ shipping cost O.o

Well, they are all in the States and I'm in Canada.... but still... I don't think I'm THAT far

Personally I think the prices got way out of hand, but people have made me some crazy high offers for a couple of my prints, so I don't know, maybe people just think they can get $1500 for one of them. I don't.



I think some of it is people wanting to cash in on the ME 2 launch, stuff related to a series always skyrockets in price around the release of a new major installment in that series. A copy of the original Mass Effect Limited Edition for 360 is going for upwards of $250 and more on Amazon marketplace, Who'd pay that?

BioWare are releasing too many too soon. I want to collect them, but can only afford so many at a time. Annoyed to see The Citadel come and gone already without even knowing... I missed that one the first time simply because of the move to the EA Store, and now again because I had no idea until it was already sold out. Tempted to get more, but money is tight, mainly due to getting Omega and Minuteman professionally framed.
