I don't suppose that mentioning that 15+ years have passed since the Calling and Awakening might make a difference? I know lots of people who don't look much like they did a decade or two ago and that's without enduring the taint, a risen archdemon, possessing magic and all...As for Utha (if that indeed is Utha and not a disciple of hers), maybe she's taken to stealing/possessing bodies like Flemeth! LOL
All I'm saying is that we shouldn't base our final judgement on a short trailer and a few artwork sketches...
But the voice acting (as usual) sounds superb. Anyone else think it's Robin Sachs?
Sounds like the guy who did Duncan.. heck maybe its not even the architect from the novels..maybe its a new one..maybe it is DUNCAN...OMG. I have no clue I dont follow the lore, just basing it off the voice.

I have a question for the people here who read The Calling...What exactly is the Architect's ultimate goal?
SPOILER highlight to read: >The Architect intends to free all darkspawn from the call of the archdemons by killing the archdemons, and he plans to basically turn all of humanity into greywarden/darkspawn hybrids so that they can live in "peace"<

Ha! wouldn't your whole party turn on you if that happened though?

For some reason this made me think of Dante's Inferno..Spartansfan8888 wrote...
Man no character in a movie (or in this case video game) EVER looks like you imagined they did while reading the book.
Yeah... Don't hold your breath for that one13eelzebub wrote...

He is even in the novel The Calling(name right?). Described close to what he looks like in the picture.
eh what? he looks NOTHING like he is described in the calling
in the calling he looked like your normal Darkspawn except he carried a staff and wore brown robes
plus he got his hand chopped off towards the end
Indeed but it's been awhile and with his skillz(zizzle dawg) he probably Grew it back, unless that isn't really the Architect, or the Architect did something and messed himself up big time and now looks like that.

And by that you try to imply that the Architect would be recruitable even though having been advertised as an enemy?Dewarren2010 wrote...
So, this is the Legion of Dragon Age? Hopefully he is as cool as the Geth in ME2
Again I wouldn't hold my breath.

The talking darkspawn could they be the grey wardens from the battle of ostagar? What if they were taken prisoner like in the calling and changed to think like the Architect. The talking ones are like they described in the book that utha, and the leader and her brother turned in to.

It could also just be artistic licence but I have faith in Bioware to be better than that.

Anyway the Architect may not look like what I expected him too, but they got the voice spot on.
I cannot wait to fight him.

Never!
I was just pointing out that the art direction is so...impressive but the clip so ...short and I am sure there is a... lot more of the Architect to see.

Also 5 days to release to hell. Think of us European junkpeople first. Gah, I hate uneven release. May another X never be released in English again... AAARGH!
