How did you complete Warden's Keep? I killed the demon possesed female Warden and the Mage? I was wondering if this would effect anything later in the game? As the mage said he wanted to continue his research of Blood Magic in order to help fight  against the Darkspawn.

Avernus's research might have a small effect in Awakeing, but only if you let him live and continue with his research.
