This has been a nightmare.
This has just caused me 3 hours of
headache and I'm sure others are having this issue too.
If you migrate/link your account form a
different EA site “this site” will use the foreign site's login
email;
YET and this is the biggest issue really!
It will tell you you're logged in with your EA account email!
So my next issue now is gettig back the CE code I redeemed on the only account...
Major bug with using Emails as logins

I am having the exact same problem. BSN and EA accounts don't recognize each other at all! I redeemed my code through my BSN account. The DLC isn't showing up in game because it's the wrong log in and it won't let me control it in anyway. Once you connect to DA servers, the option to log in and out from the in game menu is gone.
Also since I redeemed the code through BSN, attempting to redeem it through DAO in game results in a response that the code is invalid.
Any ideas or solutions would be grateful, I am running out of patience.

Also, I only use 1 email address. My PSN account is correct, my EA account is correct, and my BSN is correct. They all match, so I don't know why EA and BSN don't sync. I also can't link my PSN account to EA because it can't find the gamer tag.

I have a help ticket open via email to get this fixed.
The login you use in the game needs to be the account from the migrated account; in your case the BSN.
Ex:I migrated from the old site where I registered w/ my johndoe@ABC.com email address.
My EA is my real email johndoe@XYZ.com
In the game you have to "login" with johndoe@ABC.com

Well that's why I am confused. I am playing the PS3 version, and it doesn't let me sign in manually. The other part that confuses me is that the BSN account and EA account share the exact same email. I am not sure why none of them sync together.

Yeah it says they share the same "email", but the logins are different.
The EA login is the same as the email other accounts may have the email in the profile, but the login can vary; that's what ultimately is causing all the confusion.

guys, Bioware uses the EA account to authenticate you to the new social site, they are not seperate.
I have the same exact issue. I wanted to play Dragonage Journey's so I created a new account on the dragonage site which really is just another EA account. I had an existing EA account that was synced with my xbox live gamertag that is used automatically when playing games on the xbox. When I received my copy of Dragonage, I fired up my xbox, was logged in using my old account, and then redeemed all my preorder codes. Over the weekend, I asked EA to sync my gamertag with my new EA account I used for the Dragonage flash game and what do you know? Now my dragonage saves are broken and I can't access some of the DLC and preoder stuff because of the account switch.
I called EA support and they told me my two EA accounts were merged however some of the data is locked. They have to manually go in and sync the data in order to get everything switched over. This takes 24-48 hours for some reason.
In short, be careful with your EA profiles as the system is very buggy and outdated. I think one of the reasons Bioware did away with seperate accounts is to alleviate some of this mess with different accounts on different sites and went with the EA account as the master account. Unfortunetely, the EA account syncronation tool leaves alot to be desired.

Thanks for the info RSX Titan. I am having the same problem that has been discussed. Due to this problem my DLC is locked and I cannot download any of it in the game, because like the card said that is included with the game, I redeemed some of the DLC online through dragonage.bioware.com/redeem and not at the DLC screen in-game.
Sounds like I just need to get in contact with EA and have them manually merge my accounts.

I finally had the time to contact EA support line, and they fixed all my account and email problems. My EA, BSN, and PSN accounts all sync up and I have received all the DLC that I redeemed. Sounds like just giving them a call is the solution. My accounts reflected the correction they made instantly. I didn't have to wait 24-48 hours luckily.
Just wanted to provide that feedback for anyone else reading these threads in search of a solution.
