We clearly need a game that addresses these issues.

If you really wanted to make a reason for it, say that the magic interferes. But that would beg the question why it doesn't also interfere with items of clothing and such. *shrug*

2 rings slots = AD&D had 2 ring slots
Comparable to dwarves having beards because they had beards in Tolkien's books. That's how it works.

If that is the case, then that means revamping the interface a bit to remove a ring slot. I would think it would be easier to just nerf the rings instead. Especially if it's just certain combinations of rings creating the problem. Nerfing the rings would be just goin to the ring information code & stickin some new numbers in, or removing certain powers, or similar.vyvexthorne wrote...
I really liked playing dress up in Morrowind.Guess we'll just have to wait and see what's in the game. Maybe after some play throughs they decided that 2 rings made you too powerful or something.
Then again, if they figured it would be funner to squash some bugs with a hammer instead of a fly-swatter, no complaints here.

Dwarfs can put rings on their beards, so they should get like 4 ring slots maybe...

The Memory Band itself is a ring, and as such is equipped in one of the two available ring slots in most party members' equipped items/paper doll view of the inventory - and while equipped provides the +1% xp bonus.

Not very illuminating at all really, with regards to the contents of this post... all those profiles are made with the character generator and thus result in the inventory screen STILL Missing the Arrow and secondary ring slots.starwind99 wrote...

Maria Caliban, however, jogged my memory so I looked around on the wiki and found this:

As you can see, Alistair has a Quiver slot and two ring slots... so I believe the character generator was just not giving us the whole story. PEOPLE GATHER ROUND ME!! I THink this is a false alarm and the actual game will have two ring slots. Nothing to see here - move along..
The Cloak will have to be modded in perhaps..

Then necklaces should be able to be strung between any of the non-limb ring slots.
Yup.

There should be 36 ring slots! 10 for hands, 3 each ear, 1 per eyebrow, 1 per nostril, 2 for lips, 2 per umm.. chest, 1 per navel, 1 per.. umm.. lower, then 10 for feet!
Then necklaces should be able to be strung between any of the non-limb ring slots.
Yup.

Calling someone incompetent for such a minor thing while at the same time spelling the word wrong is ironic.
The reason some people are higher level is because they are devs and other privileged people who are already playing the game before it is released. Without looking it up, I recall that Chris Priestly has a character over 20th level on the player profiles. The fact that they were recently uploaded or updated doesn't reflect the fact that they could have been playing the character in game for quite a while.
