I have 2 characters:
A Dalish rogue with what appears to be his armor in the off-hand/shield slot and the slot below looks like the real armor slot.
The second character is a human noble fighter with the armor in the armor slot and the shield in the off-hand/shield slot.

Personly I am a little disappointed that there are no weapon sheathes and that weapons float quite a distance behind your character.
Its better of course than pulling your weapon out of thin air, but this is something that just isnt improved ever since we got to see weapons on your character when its not in their hands.
Its time for the next step. Fable2 didnt take it, Dragon Age didnt take it, Fallout3 didnt either, so I am curious about who will.
The number of weapon sheathes you have equipped could be equal to the amount of weapons you can carry. If you have two crossed sword sheathes on your back you could carry two swords there. The sheathe would also come with a belt that goes over the armor.
Dagger sheathes could be put on the boots, legs, arms and belt, swords could also be on the belt and larger ones only being possible on the back, same for bows and such.
Its just a small detail, but I think it would really help improve the overall appearance of all characters.
Anyway, as for cloaks, Bioware made exellent cloaks for Neverwinter Nights1 so I cant see why they exclude cloaks now. Perhaps they could be attached to some armors to ensure there wont be clipping? They wouldnt be their own object, but they would still be in the game then.

social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php since your incompotent to go through the profiles I have linked the one I was thinking of. Now how does something just created in the character creator have 41 kills and is level 4?
Calling someone incompetent for such a minor thing while at the same time spelling the word wrong is ironic.
The reason some people are higher level is because they are devs and other privileged people who are already playing the game before it is released. Without looking it up, I recall that Chris Priestly has a character over 20th level on the player profiles. The fact that they were recently uploaded or updated doesn't reflect the fact that they could have been playing the character in game for quite a while.
You're correct that Chris Priestly has a rogue already powered up. He has a lvl 22 female dwarf rogue. I've been lookin at it from time to time for inspiration for my own Dwarf Commoner Rogue, Elocyn, who I am trying to plot a way to dual wield double bladed 1H axes, & perhaps be kinda part rogue, part dex fighterish.

Because of the enchantment, dummy! +20 Con is totally worth a little overheating.Cozarkian wrote...
Cloaks should be treated as an armor set, not an individual item. Otherwise, you get the advantage of a cloak without the negative effects of wearing too much. A cloak and leather jerkin makes sense, but unless you are in the arctic north, why would you wear a cloak with a full set of plate armor?

Yes yes yes .. I always ran around in full plate with a robe over it.OwenM wrote...
Morrowind was really great, because you could wear robes *over* other items - and armour over clothes. Made a lot of sense, too...

Hm, I wonder if Oblivion's glass armor would work well here.

Yesterday I saw a link of Chris character on the forums so I was wondering what else is out their? So I started to search the creations database figuring that the first uploads would be done by people who worked for bioware and my hunch was right their are quite a few characters already. social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php, If you look through them you can see some armor weapons and kills. each of the links is to a different profile.

I don't like much also most of the armor in Dragon age.You either look like a robot (lol Morrigan with a full plate look retarded) or just plain bad (I dislike the look of the leather dragon armor)
For instance i love the look of Aragorn when the hobbit first see him smoking in the inn.He look plain bad ass and shady.
I love the look of the Alltair in assasin creen and the look Duncan .I mean the armor you wear don't make your character feel unique in dragon age.You look simply like all the other thung or warrior you fight during the game.
