I patched the game and of course it stopped working. However, I was able to play by launching the game from the DVD itself. I'm on win 7 64 bit and it seems to work just fine, just access the dvd drive and right click then select "Open Auotplay". Still, can't believe they would release a patch in this condition....welcome to Electronic BioArts?...bleh
