The epilogue only mentioned that she remained with her love, at least for a while a think? Does that mean she leaves or what? Is she coming back in Awakening or in a sequel?

You can't keep a good stalker down.

She'll be back.

Just like Rose in Two and a Half Men.

I think Bioware ows us an answer on our favorite character (well, mine and a bunch of others anyway). I just can't understand how the damn Dwarf was more favored than Leliana (see the latest GameSpot video), the biggest head scratcher I have seen in over a year. But, don't hold your breath, they just won't say.

She might make a cameo. But that's a big "might".

Perhaps she will appear in the other expansion.

I'm sure your lover (unless your lover is Morrigan) will make an appearance in the game, most probably in the beginning. They may have business to attend to elsewhere, or they might (*gasp*, plot twist) be killed at the beginning. If they were...wow. That would definitely be a shocker and a very nice move by Bioware. Would definitely fuel the story if you later find out they were killed by the Architect. We need a more personal main villain this time.

Chances are she might just stop by to say hi, but she won't be a companion.

Too bad.  It should be very easy to bring her back.  Simpler than inventing new companions.  Although I haven't noticed too many of them.  Five?  Weren't there EIGHT in DA:O?

They haven't said when, you mean, since they
have said that the companions from Origins
would be in other expansions; as for Ohgren
being the returning companion, they explained
that it was because a lot of players got him
last, and didn't really get a chance to get to
know him that well.

screw the expansions, I'm not paying 40 bucks for a game they spent a few months on

I can see why you would be, seeing as you barely know anything about the game.

And I suppose you know everything about the game there is to know right?

of course, you have evidence they only "spent a few months on" seeing as that any game takes a minimum of a 8 months to create (for a next gen, graphically intense, dialoge intense, animation intense, game) and building upon a game that took nearly 4 years to create, produce and finalize. The "expansion" was probably wELL under way to being made during that game production time (try at least a year ago)

Edited to fix spelling

Great! That ensures at least one more copy will be available for someone who wants it.

IIRC, the core development of the expansion had started at by the time the PC version had been finalised, if not before, which was early last year. And the writers had begun work on it before that time. So "a few months" is inaccurate to say the least.

I wouldn't hold your breath for Leliana in Awakening. Just tell yourself that she's gone on a wild shopping spree in Orlais while you handle the rebuilding of the Keep.

The Maker sent her a vision telling her to snort the Sacred Ashes of Andreste. She spends the entire time of Awakening giggling in the temple and living off Silent Hill Pizza deliveries. When you meet her in the next xpac, she’ll inform you she’s now a biotic God.

Heh, I just had a vision of the first cutscene:

[sound of Dog barking]
[Leliana gets up in bed]
Leliana: What's that noise? It sounds like something is outside the door.
[Lel goes to open door]
PC: Nooooooooooo!

I have a feeling she has gone to Orlais because I think that will be our next stop in either an expansion or DA2

Killing her is unacceptable. A pox on any who think it! :pinched:

You're moaning about only 5 new companions in an EXPANSION PACK, NOT A FULL SEQUEL.....I've seen a few comments like this recently and people seem to be under the mistaken impression that awakenings should have the length and content of a fully fledged sequel, when really they would do well to remember that its just an expansion pack which is basically just DLC only bigger and better. All these people up in arms over "why is'nt <insert personal favourite charcter here> comming back", "why is it only 15 - 20 hours long, when the main games was over 100", "why only 5 companions when main game had 8" and all the rest...... honestly, if this was in fact DA:O 2 then I would understand such complaints but come on, this is ridiculous.

/rant off

As for Leliana well i'm sure we will hear something of her, if not in this expansionthen the next or maybe even the sequel.

Nah. Lelianna's gone (boo!). Her story concluded in the powerpoint ending we got when we beat the game. The only ones from DA:O we'll see in Awakening will be who's been announced. Beyond that? Morrigan possibly in DA2, but that's about it.

If Morrigan came back in DA 2, she'd be just as annoying as she was in DA:O as she would be talking about your past PC in bed with your new PC.

Wasn't her VA too expensive?
