You know, perhaps those letters were basically tags.

A few people complained about how you magically got the Stone Prisoner and Return to Ostagar quests, and having the letters show up to trigger DLC to expand Awakening could be it.

Well the general impression i got from the epilouges was that we do hook back up with our warden's lovers at the end of awakening, so it leaves me a little itty bitty hopeful that the next expansion (i'd imagine, bioware seems to do two per game) will return them to the party as bout everyone involves them wandering off together, otherwise just abit of bookend to write off our charecters in a vauge happy ending

haha it's true, he grew on me.  I always enjoyed the banter between Ohgren and Morrigan in Origins.

Yes, I am aware of what she said and that there is a 99% chance that we will see a DLC somehow involing Leliana, not arguing against that. Was simply saying most companies slap NDA's on their contractual employees and if she said this without EA/BioWare's permission she could be in lots of trouble and I'd hate to see that.

So I'm guessing Leliana will make a cameo via a similar DLC.



I hope she dies in it though. Preferably having her stomach cut open, her intestines pulled out a nailed to a tree, and then is forced to walk around the tree thus wrapping it with her intestines until she dies.



Of course her tongue would be cut out and force fed to her before hand.

This irritates me too, but at least she will be back, tbh i loved leliana as a character, except when she talked about shoes i wish I could slap her.

I do however, want ot ask why would they make a new rogue instead of just added leliana in the game instead to save some money? I personally hate the new one with a passion, he is far too emo for me and I feel like cutting my wrists every time he opens his mouth.

Wasn't Leliana supposed to travel with me after it was all done? I'm pretty sure that my main character wouldn't just have left her behind like that.. Considering all the circumstances they wen't through together.. So if she appears in a DLC some day, it better be freaking good appearence. And well, if possible.. It would be perfect if she became playable character again, but it might be too much to hope for.. Since it would require tons of lines again (which I personally would just love over anything in awakening.. I can't stop loving her accent.) ..

Awakening does  have a last "Autosave", it's made right BEFORE  the Final Battle. 
And as for Leli appearing in DA2... No. 
At least not VOICED. Unless they pull a Sandal and get a new VA, (which would be absolutely wretched, regardless of how good anyone other than Corinne Kempa might be in other contexts!)

There are several places on the web where Ms. Kempa is quoted referring to a yet-to-be released DLC. 
The original sources all date to early Spring 2010.  She was referring to Lelinana's Song!

Having followed this on Ms. Kempa's website last Spring, what she actually posted was that in the late Fall and early Winter of 2009-2010 she had wrapped-up doing more DA  VO work, and was eager to see how it would be used in "an upcoming DLC".

There's always the possibility that our favourite bard may re-appear in a DA2 DLC. After all, we do know that they have used other characters from Origins and put them into DA2 - Isabella for one.

Plot wise, Leliana appearing would make little sense unless she wasn't romanced in the main game. Depending on how you treated her in Origins, she can stay with you, stay in Denerim, travel, do expeditions for the Chantry, go back to Orlais and a few others. I can't think of a reason why she would show up in Kirkwall, unless she is with the Warden who happens to drop in on Hawke for a visit. I am a massive Leliana fan, but I just can't see how she would end up in Kirkwall, even over 10 years of DA2.
