No no one even knows. If your a male its just between your PC and Morrigan. If your a female its between your PC, Alistair or the secret companion, and Morrigan none of your other party knows what happen.Blackoutt21 wrote...
I happen to be in the middle of playthrough so I'm hoping to finish before awakening comes out. Question to anyone whos done it by the way. Is the ritual considered an " evil" action by your party members? I think I'll just try to avoid the whole US deal unless bioware surprises everyone.

Alistair or Loghain will ask about it during the epilogue, but neither gives you any grief over it. They just say something about the Orlesian Wardens asking about it, I think. Now I can't remember.

Why not just get the respec mod and save yourself 60 hours?
Because, unlike an MMO, this is supposed to be fun to play rather than work.

My line of reasoning for not doing it my first playthrough was this: if i remember correctly the book you can give morrigan makes her realize about flemeths ability to absorb her daughters and that kept her alive or something like that. Again this is just me going on memory but didn't they say the old god this arch demon was was the god of beauty. I just thought that Morrigan may be using the kid to simply absorb and keep her beauty.
I'm pretty sure that Flemeth's plan was for Morrigan to get pregnant then come home and be possessed. Then Flemeth would have another daughter, this one being a living god for her to possess.
I don't know what Morrgan was planning to do, but I'd like to think she didn't just want it for the same reasons as Flemeth.

I'll be restarting my mage, so that I can get her to a higher level (I finished my first game at level 15 -sigh-) and so that I can give her better specializations. Also, because I like playing mages.

That's most likely what Flemeth wanted to happen. And probably why she saved the PC and Alistair from the Tower of Ishal in the first place.Cuthlan wrote...

I've been working on a few new playthroughs for a couple weeks now. I'm about 60-70% done with my HNF. This is.. Either the 3rd or 4th time I've remade her.

I know how you feel, I've started the same type of character three times, this character being the newest incarnation.

He was referring to the fact that you can save yourself the trouble of making a new character just for Awakening.
