I happen to be in the middle of playthrough so I'm hoping to finish before awakening comes out. Question to anyone whos done it by the way. Is the ritual considered an " evil" action by your party members? I think I'll just try to avoid the whole US deal unless bioware surprises everyone.

Ya. I did a mage and got her to 25. I am working on my warrior to get him 25 now, then I got a few more things to do then I will finish beating them for Awakening.

I didn't start any specifically for Awakening. I had my warrior at 24, loaded him up and moved all of the items to him I wanted and sold the rest. My rogue wasn't done, but I finished him for Awakening, making different choices where I could justify it. He's 23 now. Good enough for me... I've never hit 25 yet without elfroot hoarding anyway.

I AM getting RTO tomorrow finally, maybe that will tip my level 24 over the top.

It's pretty fun, not exactly the most lengthy quest but it offers some closure on things and u get some armor, maybe not the best in the game but its good for sure. Theres weapons too I think.

No no one even knows. If your a male its just between your PC and Morrigan. If your a female its between your PC, Alistair or the secret companion, and Morrigan none of your other party knows what happen.

Why not just get the respec mod and save yourself 60 hours?

Alistair or Loghain will ask about it during the epilogue, but neither gives you any grief over it. They just say something about the Orlesian Wardens asking about it, I think. Now I can't remember.

Oh that's good, I might just do it then. I thought maybe ur whole party would somehow find out about it and see it as being evil or something.

Because, unlike an MMO, this is supposed to be fun to play rather than work.

No one knows how it will turn out. I think that, depending on if you did Morrigan's quest or not, how you did it, what your relationship was with her, and everything like that will have an effect on what happens. I'm willing to bet she'll be making an appearance late in the 2nd or, if there's a third, in that one. She or the child will definitely be coming back, however.

My line of reasoning for not doing it my first playthrough was this: if i remember correctly the book you can give morrigan makes her realize about flemeths ability to absorb her daughters and that kept her alive or something like that. Again this is just me going on memory but didn't they say the old god this arch demon was was the god of beauty. I just thought that Morrigan may be using the kid to simply absorb and keep her beauty.

I'm pretty sure that Flemeth's plan was for Morrigan to get pregnant then come home and be possessed. Then Flemeth would have another daughter, this one being a living god for her to possess.

I don't know what Morrgan was planning to do, but I'd like to think she didn't just want it for the same reasons as Flemeth.

I could be wrong but I never fully trusted her. I did change my mind a bit afterwards though, when she leaves she actually shows emotion and looks sad.

My characters are all kind of poor and not equipped that well... the only thing I've done to prepare is by redoing any ultimate sacrifice endings into dark promise, redeemer or warden commander.

I will also start a new playthrought now that I finally have RTO, because I want to import this "perfect" playthrought to Awakening (in fact, I think I just needed an excuse to play again, LOL).

I started <--- this character specifically for Awakening. Default hair so that if my mods don't work then it won't matter. Doing pretty much every quest to get as high a level as possible. I'm trying to get to level 25, and so far I'm doing pretty good.

I'll be restarting my mage, so that I can get her to a higher level (I finished my first game at level 15 -sigh-) and so that I can give her better specializations. Also, because I like playing mages.

That's most likely what Flemeth wanted to happen. And probably why she saved the PC and Alistair from the Tower of Ishal in the first place.

I've been working on a few new playthroughs for a couple weeks now. I'm about 60-70% done with my HNF. This is.. Either the 3rd or 4th time I've remade her.

I'm going through right now. Coming up on the Landsmeet, although I still don't know what I'm planning on doing. I'd like to marry Anora, but I feel bad killing Loghain if I do that, but would also rather see Alistair in my first Awakening run. Decisions decisions.

I did... twice, with the same character, because I forgot a few things that ended up really changing the epilogue (one was a decision in Redcliffe, which I did first, and the other was hardening Alistair, which I did right after, so I essentially had to play the same character, with mostly the same choices, 2 times in a row... and it was still somehow fun. Go figure).

I am, I just started a new mage the other day, so hopefully I can get him to 25 in a couple more days...

I keep restarting my character over an over.

I know how you feel, I've started the same type of character three times, this character being the newest incarnation.

He was referring to the fact that you can save yourself the trouble of making a new character just for Awakening.
