Shockwave is not as useful as pull field..

Shockwave is a lot better then pull on long ranges. For example, grunts recruitment mission and the places with blue suns heavys.Pull misses there.Shockwave works always as intended.(insanity/engineer)

I disagree. Pull Field is more useful IMO than shockwave even at long
range. Grunt's loyalty mission is no different. Krogan would quickly
begin  to regenerate their health (even before they get up) after
shockwave. I'd be better off just using pull field and shooting them
out of the air.

Pull is enough. I'd trade Jack's shockwave in for a heavy barrier skill any time.

husks are more than basic if you're able to target there legs. All in all i don't use jack at all, the one time i used her was to complete her side quest. It's not because i don't like her it's just that i see others powers as more useful.

You couldnt always reach the blue suns "heavys" with pull.Shockwave works always on them and at a greater distance.

I liked Jack on the collectors ship and the final mission. Shockwave knocks people off edges really good.I'd warp spam to bring down defenses and then she'd clear them off the platforms. Other than that, she is probably the weakest squadie for me. I was playing an adept though so there is a bit of power overlap here. I got used to not using her so even on my infiltrator play through I haven't used her.

Whenever you're against barriers or husks.

I never understood the husk thing.  Maybe on lower levels they don't have armor?  But I have to drop the armor then I can use shockwave and really any adept power auto kills husks once there armor is gone, so who cares about shockwave.  Push would work just as god, or push field if a couple have there defenses down.  I guess if I ran around lowering armors on a bunch of them and had them follow me single file into a trap shockwave would totally rock.

I find that Jack and Samara, or Jack and Miranda, are a good combo.

I take Jack and Samara, on the IFF mission.

Depending on class, I usually have Shockwave and Reave (bonus), or Pull and Reave.

This lets me set up Samara and myself to strip shields, from enemies with Reave, and then Jack and I can take them out wiith well timed shockwave.

On the final mission, I like to have Jack and Miranda, or Samara and Miranda.

When you max out Jack's shockwave, she does some nice damage; and has saved me by shaking enemies, like husks, off of me.

Not all classes could do that at this time.

there are three sort of slam biotic powers. reave, slam, shockwave. jack has shockwave which is pretty powerful like playing bowling. the power is very useful. but be careful after loyalty mission. she fights with Miranda. I usually have no choice to get them off. if I am a side of jack, miranda loyalty is gone. If I agree with Miranda, jack's loyalty is gone. maybe only what I can do for keeping both loyalty is getting more paragon or renegade (full). yeah, it's really sucks. now, in my 7th game play, Miranda doesn't want to talk with me after fighting with Jack in Miranda room. I want her back. but it seems that I don't have any way. does anybody know how to get Miranda loyalty back?

Which such heavies are you talking about?  The ones across the big gaps?  The ones down the bridge area?

They're all hittable with pull very easily.  The only heavies that are more worthy of a shockwave over a pull in that mission are the two in the "window" room (2nd fight after the sniper rifle scan) where they have a rail-less pit behind them.

There's nothing in that mission that I haven't been able to hit with a pull.

Near maximum Paragon or Renegade.  Its easier if you nearly max one of the two out BEFORE they have the confrontation.
